1. BEFORE USE THIS DOCUMENT

- Register an account from www.copy9.com.

- Make sure that your device in-connected with a WIFI/GPRS network.

2. Download.

There are 2 way to download Copy9 set up file to your smartphone.

2.1. Download with a PC.

After activate your account with the activation code, download page

will appear. Choose Copy9 for Android X.X version.

Choose one of links below to download Copy9 installation file to your PC

(six options):

- For Android 2.x.x: http://copy9.com/download/copy9_2x.apk

- For Android 4.x: http://copy9.com/download/copy9_4x.apk

- Then, connect your device with PC by USB cable. Turn on USB Storage

mode.

Android 2.2 smartphone

- Copy and paste set up file to your smartphone then open it by a file

manager application (such as IO file manager) and follow installation

wizard step by step to install Copy9.

2.2. Download directly to your smartphone.

Attention: Your device must have internet connection (via Wifi, GPRS, 3G…).

Open web browser of the device and enter following URL address

http://copy9.com/download/copy9_xx.apk to download installation file to your

device directly. For example, I want download Copy9 for my Android 2.2

smartphone, so I enter address http://copy9.com/download/copy9_2x.apk.

Choose one of links below to download Copy9 installation file to your

PC:

- For Android 2.x.x: http://copy9.com/download/copy9_2x.apk

- For Android 4.x: http://copy9.com/download/copy9_4x.apk

3. Installation.

On your device, open file copy9_XX.pak to start installation process, the

installation screen will appear and you can follow set up wizard step by step.

Restart your phone after installation process finish successful.

4. Configuration.

After the phone restarted, you can open Copy9 interface to configuring by

dialing the secret code : #123456* then press CALL KEY (OK KEY), wait for a few

seconds, Copy9 user interface will appear.

4.1. Register an account directly from Copy9 app.

If you don’t have a Copy9 account yet, you can sign up a account directly

fron Copy9 app on target phone with version 2.0.1 and higher. On Copy9 interface

on target phone tap Register > Insert Email and password you wish > Create

account. When you create an account successfully, your device will be registered to

this account automatically.

Attention: You should use a valid email address to create account because later you will

used this account to view logs result, recover password if you ever forget, receive link

download CSV back up data.

4.2. Login.

Attention!!!

You can only monitor 3 devices for each account. If you want to monitor more

devices, please register another account.

If you have a Copy9 account already, just need to log in to register your target

device with your Copy9 account. On Login screen, insert email address and password of

account which you created in website www.copy9.com into Email Address and

Password fields then tap Login. If your account is logged in successful, a message “Login

successful” will appear after a few second, otherwise, please check again account

information or internet connection.

4.3. Configure Copy9.

- In Copy9 main screen, press key Menu >tap Settings.

General:

o Monitoring phone: Phone number is used to function Auto

answer.

o Secret key: password is used to open application interface.

GPS: Activate/Deactive function record GPS location.

o Capture position every (GPS interval): duration between 2

time record GPS location.

o Distance filter: horizontal distance parameter for function GPS, if

target phone does not move out of the circle with radius is

Distance filter parameter value in specified time, Copy9 will save

the location and sent to server.

Functions:

o SMS: Activate/Deactive function record incoming and outging SMS

message.

o Call: Activate/Deactive function record incoming and outging Call.

o URL: Activate/Deactive function record URL address which

accessed by device’s web browser.

o Auto Answer: Not support yet. (Because Auto answer feature still has

some conflicts on Android OS phone, we temporary remove this feature on

current Copy9 version for Android OS. Our develop team work hard on this issue

now and will release a new version support Auto Answer feature for Android OS

soon.)

5. How it works?

Copy9 will record information about received calls, dialed calls, missed calls,

outgoing messages, incoming message, GPS locations (global possition system),

URL address of all website visited... in your Android smartphone then uses HTTP

to send that informations to the website. Later customers can view result on

website www.copy9.com through PC web browser or smartphone web browser.

Customers can customize configuration parameters of application Copy9 in device

also by using link Configure cell.

6. Config through website.

With a PC, you can config Copy9 running on devices by using CELL INFO

TAB on our website. What you changed will apply to application Copy9 running on

devices exactly.

Attention!!!

You can only monitor 3 devices for each account. If you want to monitor more

devices, please register another account.

7. Review and download data

Login with your account on Copy9 website.

Appendix

i. How to know version of Android OS in your smartphone

From main menu, tap Settings -> About Phone -> look

Android version.

ii. How to turn on Wifi in your smartphone

From main menu, tap Settings -> Wireless and Network ->

check on Wifi box.

iii. How to turn on GPS in your smartphone

From main menu tap Settings -> Location and Security -> in group

My Location, check on Enable GPS satellites.

iv. How to uninstall Copy9

On Copy9 interface, press key Menu > Uninstall > Wait for uninstalling

process finish.
