The basic rule in handling offenses is to go to the person alone and make things right.

ENMITY AND BARRIERS

Barriers are like a “wall” between people.

Christ suffered and died to do away with all enmity and barriers between believers.

The attitude of rejecting a person prevents God's love from flowing through you to that person.

The attitude of receiving a person allows God's love to flow through you to that person.

Love suffers long. Love is kind. Love does not envy. Love does not parade itself. Love is not

puffed up. Love does not behave rudely. Love does

not seek its own. Love is not provoked. Love thinks no evil. Love does not rejoice

in iniquity. Love rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things.

Love believes all things. Love endures all things. Love never fails.

God’s AGAPE love enabled Stephen to pray for his enemies.
