The ERCO4400-4401 is an under wheelscissors lift with a maximum capacity of4400kg.The LCT version is ideal for alignmentoperations of front and rear wheels.To enable rear alignment the lift is fittedwith slip plates on three axes (transversal,longitudinal and diagonal) which enableall movements required for adjustmentprocedures.Versions L, L LT, PT4 and CT LT PT4 canalso be used for maintenanceoperations, repairs and for technicalvehicle test procedures in conjunctionwith the play detector; in PT4 versionsthe play detector is hydraulically poweredby means of the same control cabinet asthe lift.Designed for both in-floor installationor on-floor installation with drive-through ramps either indoors or outdoorswith adequate roof shelter, the ERCO4400-

4401 lifts are equipped with safetydevices to ensure operator safety in theevent of faults.The 4400 series is equipped with atorsion bar which ensures that therunways remain level, even with anunevenly distributed load.The lifts of the 4401 series have beendesigned without a torsion barbetween the two runways to improveaccess, therefore making work on vehicleseasier.Synchronization between the two runwaysis provided by a flow divider and two quickresponse control valves which checkrunway alignment and maintain thepermissible values during lifting andlowering operations.The precision design and the quality ofthe components guarantee the maximumstructural stability and absolute reliabilityover time.

General description

This product is approved by:


• Free-wheel scissors lift-table with maximum capacityof 4400kg.

• 4400 series with torsion bar for perfect levelling of runways,even with an unevenly distributed load.

• 4401 series without torsion bar between the two runways(for better access). Synchronization between the tworunways is provided by a flow divider and two quickresponse control valves.

• Base with adjustable feet for perfect levelling of the liftboth in working position and when fully closed.

• Emergency hand pump.

• Mechanism consisting of a locking pawl and rack systemto block accidental descent (every 100 mm) in the eventof hydraulic hose failure.

• Counterbalancing valve installed on the lift cylinderdischarge to block accidental descent in the event ofhydraulic hose failure.

• Electromechanical device to block lift ascent/descent inthe event of runway misalignment.

• Equipped with anti-crushing safety device which stopsthe lift at a height of 450 mm above the ground duringlowering and requires a restart before continuing thedescent.

• Anti-crushing device consisting of a rubber-backed fabricside guard for the additional lift-table.

• Available with access runways positioned on the floor andwith suspended runways to avoid bulky objects on theground when the lift is in working position.

• Slip plates (with air locking system) featuring transversaland diagonal movement for wheel alignment (supplied asstandard in CT versions).

• Built-in free-wheel lift-table with maximum capacityof 3600 kg (supplied as standard in LT versions) completewith rubber-backed fabric side guards; extendable runwaysfor long wheel base vehicles.

• Pressure switch (on LT models only) to block liftascent/descent in the event of runway misalignment.

• Extensions for the PT400 play detector with fourdirections of movement for checking the front axle(supplied as standard in PT4 versions); the PT400 playdetector is hydraulically powered by means of the samecontrol cabinet as the lift and is equipped with an inspectionlamp fitted with a control device.

• Also available in wheel alignment version as per VW-AudiGroup requisites.

ERCO 4400

ERCO4400-4401 L: general-purpose lift withlong smooth runways (4670 mm) able toaccommodate particularly long cars and vans.

ERCO4400-4401 L LT: general-purpose liftwith long smooth runways. Includes built-inlift-table (Maximum capacity 3600 Kg.)equipped with extending runways for longwheel base vehicles and rubber-backed stripcurtain guards.

ERCO4400-4401 L CT: wheel alignment liftwith recessed runways for front turntablesand rear slip plates with a possibility oftransversal and diagonal movement andrelative locking systems by means of apneumatic servo control. The long runways(4670 mm) are able to accommodateparticularly long cars and vans and facilitaterolling ROC procedures in alignmentoperations.

ERCO4400-4401 PT4: lift for technical vehicletest procedure, equipped with extensions forPT 400 play detector with 4 directions ofmovement for checking the front axle.The PT 400 play detector is equipped with aninspection lamp fitted with a control deviceand hydraulically powered by means of thesame control cabinet as the lift.

ERCO4400-4401 CT LT PT4: lift featuring allfunctions, incorporating all the characteristicsof the alignment lift with those of technicalvehicle test procedure.
