booking your australian open 2012 packageTennis Australia has worked with our ticketing partner, Ticketek, to develop a tailor made ticketing system for Australian Open 2012.

The online ticketing system, allows you to enter all of your own company, ticketing and signage details; and purchase directly!

How do I purchase a corporate package?

Simply follow the steps below to secure your seats

Take the following pathway to our ticketing site - http://memberships.ticketek.com.au/tennisaustralia.

• From the menu on the left hand side of the screen, select Login/Join Now.

• Sign up and become a premium hospitality client, completing all registration details (the system will prompt you to complete all relevant fields).

• From the confirmation screen, if you are ready to order your package(s) now, click on the link provided.

• Click on the Add to Order button for each package you wish to order.

• Your shopping basket will appear on the top right hand corner of this page.  Click on View Basket after you have completed your order

• Confirm all details on the Edit Order page are correct and click on Go to Payment.

Enter your payment details with preferred method (Credit Card or EFT) and click on Submit Payment.

• An order confirmation will be displayed on screen and an email will be sent to your registered email address.

Please note this process is not completely confirmed until allocation of seating is performed by Tennis Australia.

Seating cannot be allocated until payment is cleared via credit card or funds remitted to our account via EFT and confirmed received.

IMPORTANT - Ticketing will be allocated in order of preference by receipt of total payment.

Once your payment has been confirmed and your seating has been allocated you will receive a confirmation email detailing your package and seating location.

Tennis Australia’s year reaches its crescendo with the awarding of the elite Australian Tennis athlete of the past 12 months, at an exclusive gala dinner. Named in honour of one of Australia’s true champions, John Newcombe, this entertaining evening also recognises the wider community of tennis with awards in juniors, athletes with disability, officials, coaching, clubs and volunteers throughout the country.

As well as honouring our award winners, the night is a celebration of the year in Australian tennis with performances from a diverse range of leading Australian music and entertainment talent.

All Corporate Packages are issued subject to these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry 2012

1. Definitions Deluxe Picnic Box: A hamper style meal which you can eat with ease in your stadium seats. Smartcard: A debit card used for the purchase of food and beverage on-site during the Australian Open. AOT: A unique reference code applied by Tennis Australia’s database/ticketing system – Memberlink – to each client.

2. Dress Code 2.1 Tennis Australia (TA) encourages smart casual attire for all guests. Eg. Collared shirt and tailored pants or shorts for males. No rubber thongs.

3. Code of Conduct 3.1 All Corporate clients/guests are requested to comply with the following: •Tickets/passesmustbeworncorrectlyatalltimes(tickets/passestobe worn around the neck with corporate package, company name, session etc facing out). •Childrenundertheageof18yearsofagearetobeaccompaniedby an adult in all premium reserved seating areas (including bars and dining rooms). Tennis Australia (TA) reserves the right to exclude children under the age of 18 years from licensed areas. •Pleaserefrainfromleavingyourseatsduringapoint;betweenpointsor at the end of a game. Please wait for a change of ends. •Clients/guestsshouldrefrainfromcarryingonanyconversationwithothers while points are being played. •Clients/guestsshouldrefrainfrommakingloudcommentsincludingquestioning the abilities of any player, umpire or lines person. •Clients/guestsshouldrefrainfromusingfoullanguage. •Pleaseensurethatallmobilephonesandblackberriesareonsilentorturned off during matches. •Clients/guestsshouldbecognisantofothercorporateguestsseatednear them and not provoke irritable behaviour

Please note: Tennis Australia has the discretion to remove anyone displaying unacceptable conduct from the relevant area. Melbourne Park Security also has the discretion to remove anyone displaying unacceptable conduct/behaviour.

4. Ticket Onselling, Advertising and Promotions 4.1 Sale of each corporate package and ticket creates a contract between Tennis Australia (TA) and the purchaser which gives the purchaser a transferable but conditional license for admission to Melbourne Park (MP) for a certain session of the Australian Open. The license will automatically terminate if the purchaser or any subsequent transferee, without the prior written consent of TA, resells the part or all of the corporate package or ticket(s) including but not limited to sales at a premium or through a broker or agent; advertises or offers the package or ticket(s) for resale on the internet or in any other medium; or packages, advertises or uses the package or ticket(s) for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services. If a corporate package or ticket is sold or used in breach of these conditions and/or the license has terminated, TA has the right to deny admission to the bearer of the ticket, to cancel the relevant package, or to take other action, without any guarantee of a refund.

5. Assignment 5.1 Corporate packages may be assigned to a single company or individual for the duration of the corporate package in question provided Tennis Australia provides its prior written consent. Any assignment is subject to the sole discretion of Tennis Australia, which reserves the right to refuse any assignment. Tennis Australia will only consider requests to assign packages where there is a written commitment from the assignee, including its agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 5.2 In the event of any assignment, the original purchaser of the corporate package will remain responsible for the assignee of the package and the individual holder(s) of the allocated ticket(s), and will

indemnify, defend and hold harmless Tennis Australia in relation to the sale and use of the ticket(s) or package.

5.3 Any requests to assign corporate packages must be made in writing and directed to Tennis Australia. If a request is granted, Tennis Australia will obtain any necessary information from the assignee and will arrange for any signage and catering to be printed in the assignee’s name where possible (as determined by Tennis Australia).

5.4 Permission will not be given by Tennis Australia for Corporate Series packages to be broken up and sold on an individual session, or sessions, basis. Any assignment must be of a whole package, that is 25 sessions to the one client for Gold, Silver or Bronze Series packages, or 10 sessions to the one client for Signature Series packages.

5.5 Where a Garden Villa(s) is purchased, the purchaser must not, without the prior written consent of Tennis Australia, seek to assign the benefit of that marquee to more than one assignee.

6. Dining 6.1 Any requests by a corporate package holder to combine dining with other companies and/or individuals who have purchased the same package must be made in writing to Tennis Australia at least 72 hours prior to the relevant dining time. Tennis Australia reserves the right to refuse any such requests.

6.2 TA exercise the right to determine both the location and position of all dining and bar facilities (including table locations and sizes).

7. Reservations 7.1 Existing Grand Slam Select, or single session hospitality clients (those who purchased single session packages at Australian Open 2011): a) shall be given a priority access period to purchase single session hospitality, subject to these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry. Tennis Australia does not guarantee that it is able to allocate the same seats to clients, particularly where the number of seats requested differs from the previous year. b) seats will be reserved by Tennis Australia when the order process available through the online Ticketek Memberlink system is complete. c) an order confirmation will be displayed to clients on screen in the Ticketek Memberlink system and an email will be sent to the client’s registered email address. This confirmation will include an AOT reference to be used when making payment. Please note the online process is not complete and tickets are not confirmed until allocation of seating is performed by Tennis Australia. Tickets cannot be allocated until payment via credit card is cleared or funds are remitted to Tennis Australia’s account via EFT and confirmed as received by Tennis Australia. IMPORTANT - Tickets will be allocated in order of receipt of total payment. Once your payment has been confirmed and your seating has been allocated you will receive a confirmation email detailing your package and seating location. d) Where an existing client indicates on their reservation form that they would like to modify/upgrade their package that request will be accommodated where possible at the discretion of Tennis Australia. Tennis Australia reserves the right to refuse any such request. e) Where a request made under (d) above can be accommodated by changing the section in which the seats are located, Tennis Australia will allocate on a ‘best available basis’.

7.2 New Gold, Silver, Bronze or Signature Series and new Grand Slam Select clients: a) packages will be reserved by Tennis Australia when the order process available through the online Ticketek Memberlink system, is complete. b) an order confirmation will be displayed to clients on screen in the Ticketek Memberlink system and an email will be sent to the client’s registered email address. This confirmation will include an AOT reference to be used when making payment. c) Tennis Australia will contact that client and advise the best available Gold, Silver, Bronze or Signature series and Grand Slam Select seating allocation. The new client must confirm their agreement to the proposed allocation within two business days, failing which the seats will be released for purchase by other clients. d) Please note the online process is not complete and tickets are not confirmed until allocation of seating is performed by Tennis Australia.

Tickets cannot be allocated until payment via credit card is cleared or funds are remitted to Tennis Australia’s account via EFT and confirmed as received by Tennis Australia. IMPORTANT- Tickets will be allocated in order of receipt of total payment. 7.3 Tennis Australia will send a confirmation email or letter/receipt to all corporate clients in respect to package(s) purchased for Australian Open 2012.

8. Payments 8.1 All pricing is quoted in AUD$ dollars and payments must be made in AUD$

8.2 All payments received after 2 December 2011 must be by credit card. Personal or company cheques will not be accepted after that date.

8.3 An official tax invoice will be generated by Tennis Australia for GST purposes when payment is confirmed by Tennis Australia.

8.4 All prices are inclusive of GST. Tennis Australia reserves the right to adjust prices due to any increase or decrease in GST.

8.5 Where any payment amount for corporate packages exceeds the card holder’s daily limit, it is the responsibility of the card holder to contact their financial institution to gain pre-approval for the transaction prior to payment being made.

8.6 Tennis Australia advises, and the client acknowledges, that a credit card fee will apply in respect of all credit card purchases, where any portion of the total fee is paid by credit card.

8.7 The credit card fee for purchases will be: 2.95% for American Express – inclusive of GST 2.15% for Visa and MasterCard – inclusive of GST The price quoted for corporate packages is exclusive of this credit card fee, and these fees will be processed as a separate transaction by TA’s nominated ticketing agent (currently Ticketek). All credit card payments for corporate clients’ renewal packages will be processed prior to 6 August 2011. All credit card fees for corporate clients’ renewal packages will be processed prior to 6 August 2011. Credit card payments and credit card fees for corporate hospitality purchases other than renewals will be processed at Tennis Australia’s discretion.

8.8 If paying via EFT, please send remittance advice to the via e-mail [email protected]

8.9 If paying by EFT, payment must be received within 14 days of the booking request or the packages will be released for purchase by other clients.

8.10 If paying by cheque please make payable to Ticketek Pty Ltd Australian Open Corporate Bookings and quote your AOT payment reference number on the back of cheque. All cheques are to be sent to GPO BOX 1610, Sydney, NSW 2000.

9. Tickets 9.1 Tickets will only be issued upon receipt of full payment.

9.2 All tickets will show company or individual identification. In the case of assigned corporate packages, the assignee’s identification will appear. Tennis Australia must be advised in writing of any change in company or individual name prior to Monday 25 July 2011. If any changes occur after this date, tickets will not show the amended company or individual name.

9.3 Clients who purchase more than ten tickets can elect to have their tickets delivered by courier or postal mail. In order to receive tickets via courier, a street address must be provided on the application form and a representative must be available to receive the tickets during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 9.00 am-5.00 pm). Clients who

purchase ten tickets or less will receive their tickets via ordinary post.

9.4 Tickets must be delivered to a nominated Melbourne address for all international clients.

9.5 Tickets ordered prior to Friday 14th October 2011 will be delivered to the nominated delivery address by Monday 28 November 2011. Tickets ordered between Friday 14th October and Tuesday 29 November will be delivered to the nominated delivery address by Monday 19 December. Tickets ordered after 29 November, Tennis Australia will endeavour to deliver tickets prior to Monday 19 December 2011. For security purposes, tickets for all reservations made after Monday 19 December 2011 will not be delivered but will be available for collection from Melbourne Park at times nominated by Tennis Australia.

9.6 Lost or stolen tickets, passes, programs and vouchers can be reissued on: a) Payment of a fee of $25 for each lost or stolen ticket, Recommended Retail Price per program or between $10.00 and $38.00 per car park voucher; and b) TA will only consider requests for lost tickets upon receipt of a written request specifying the number of lost tickets and session details, as well as row and seat numbers (where applicable).

9.7 Replacement tickets and vouchers cannot be issued prior to Friday 6 January 2012 and will be available for collection from Melbourne Park at times nominated by Tennis Australia.

10. Signage, Advertising and Promotions

10.1 The seat signage for Corporate Series clients must be the company’s business or trading name or in the case of an individual, the first and/or surname only (in each case as per the name provided on the reservation form). No logos permitted. Signage text and font is at the discretion of Tennis Australia.

10.2 Garden Villa signage displayed outside the marquee(s) must be the company’s business or trading name. No logos permitted. Signage text and font is at the discretion of Tennis Australia.

10.3 No advertising or promotion by a company will be permitted within the Melbourne and Olympic Parks site or surrounding precinct

without the prior written consent of Tennis Australia.

11. Indemnity and Liability

11.1 Corporate Hospitality clients are responsible for the acts and omissions of their employees, officers, invitees and guests whilst at Melbourne Park; and the corporate hospitality client agrees to release and indemnify, defend and hold harmless Tennis Australia, its officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents from and against any and all losses, liabilities, expenses, claims, demands, suits and damages whatsoever and howsoever arising (including legal fees on an indemnity basis or, if deemed inappropriate, on a solicitor / client basis) resulting from or in connection with the acts of omissions of that corporate hospitality client’s employees, officers, invitees and guests or the corporate hospitality client’s breach of these Terms and Conditions.

11.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law, the corporate hospitality client agrees that Tennis Australia and its officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents are released and discharged of and from any and all claims, demands, suits, damages, losses, liabilities and injuries that the corporate hospitality client (and/or its employees, officers, invitees and guests) may suffer or sustain at or in connection with the Australian Open, by negligence or otherwise. To the extent that Tennis Australia cannot exclude liability then, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Tennis Australia’s liability is limited (at its election) to Tennis Australia repaying amounts paid by the corporate hospitality client or supplying or resupplying any tickets which have been reserved for the corporate hospitality client in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry.

12. Refunds and Transfers

12.1 All packages are non-refundable. The Australian Open match schedule is subject to change and may be altered at any time. The client will not be entitled to any refund if scheduled match or matches do not occur on a scheduled day or at a scheduled time.

12.2 Corporate Session packages are not transferable to other sessions.

12.3 Once confirmed, seats and or dining cannot be relocated.

13. Force Majeure

13.1 Neither party will be liable for any delay in performing or failure to perform its obligations under these terms and conditions if the delay or failure results from any event beyond the control of the parties, including but not limited to any act of God, fire, explosion, flood, war, acts of terrorism, travel restrictions, theft, malicious damage, strikes, lock-outs, or industrial action of any kind, government regulation or requirement and a restraint by a government or governmental agency (‘Force Majeure Event’).

13.2 If a party is prevented from or hindered in performing its obligations under this Agreement by a Force Majeure Event, performance of those obligations is suspended to the extent that performance is prevented or hindered by the Force Majeure Event and such non performance will not be deemed to be a breach of these terms and conditions.

14. General

14.1 Tennis Australia reserves the right to refuse to sell corporate packages to any company or individual.

14.2 Tennis Australia, acting in good faith, reserves the right in its absolute discretion to determine the final location of seats.

14.3 Seat allocations for Australian Open 2012 are no guarantee of same seating at future tournaments.

14.4 Any issues regarding dispute or interpretation of these Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry must be resolved in accordance with the laws of State of Victoria, Australia and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state.

14.5 In addition to these corporate Terms and Conditions of Sale and Entry, ticket bearers are bound by any terms and conditions contained in or published on tickets as well as the Australian Open Conditions of Sale and Entry as published at www.australianopen.com, exhibited throughout Melbourne Park or provided on request, as amended by Tennis Australia from time to time.

14.6 Tennis Australia reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions at any time for operational, security or safety reasons by providing 30 days written notice.
