WhatIt’s a service society of Venturers and Adult Leaders who are committed to promoting Venturing within the Scouting Community and the general public.There is no “organization” for Corps of Discovery. It occurs most often at the Council or District VOA, the Crew or the individual level through extraordinary service to Scouting. It is not a co-ed version of the Order of the Arrow.

To recognize those who serve Venturing and to offer them opportunities for fellowship with other like minded Venturers.

Who The Corps of Discovery is open to youth

and adults who have been elected upon demonstration of significant contributions to the Venturing program.
