Digitally Signing

Microsoft® Outlook® 2007

Microsoft Outlook includes tools for sending and receiving digitally signed emails.

Before sending signed emails, you must configure Outlook to associate your certificate with your email account.

To begin, select Trust Center from the Tools menu.

Select E-mail Security from the left-side panel.

Click Settings.

Click Choose to select a signing certificate.

Select the certificate you want to use for signing and click OK.

To sign all email messages, check Add digital signature to outgoing messages on the E-mail

Security section of the Trust Center.

To sign a specific email message, select the envelope icon on the Outlook toolbar.
