The Courier continued on page 6..... Just north of Fairfield is an old gravel pit known locally as “Manmade.” A number of years ago, various individuals in Camas County started working to turn this area into a park. This process has not been without dif- ficulties, but hard work has continued to bring this project closer to a reality. On Tuesday, June 2nd, the Camas Coun- P&Z to Discuss Manmade Park It’s Time To Party Be it graduation, a birthday, your anniversary, or any special day... It’s time to celebrate! But, sometimes you need a little help with the details. Tara Romero has opened up a new business to help make your next party the best it can be. PARTY PALACE (located at 334 Main Street in Gooding) offers everything you need to party - tableware, cards, balloons, flowers, and more. Need a bigger place for your celebration? Party Palace has a back room to rent by the hour or for the day. They also rent out tables and chairs to use at your location. Even if you don’t have something big to celebrate, come on in for Ice Cream, and start a celebration in your mouth. Tara is a life- long resident of Gooding and has always wanted to have a place like Par- ty Palace, for herself and the people of her community. With the help of her husband, Andrew Romero, she now has made that dream a reality. Call 490-7830 and... Party On! ty Planning & Zoning Commission will be discussing the park and how to address certain issues related to that area. If you would like to know more about this project and hear this discussion, plan on attending the regulare P&Z meeting to be held at the Camas County Courthouse at 7:00 p.m. This is a public meeting and everyone is welcome. The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Gooding County, Idaho is offering an opportunity for businesses and local communities to show their awareness and support in the fight against cancer from June 1st to June 6th. It will be “Paint The Town Purple” in all of Gooding County. This week decorate your businesses and your homes in PURPLE ribbons, balloons, and flowers. Wear something PURPLE every day this week. Wendell fire department is planning on helping to decorate their streets with purple ribbons on Tuesday and Gooding is getting the help of the fire department to decorate on Wednesday. Be sure to thank the busi- nesses for supporting the Relay and fighting back against cancer.
