WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNT?- In each of the four areas, I feel as though I have learnt various skills which will

prove useful to me for future work done in media. For the magazine coursework brief, I learnt how to use the program 'In Design' for the first time which taught me the basics on how to make a magazine coursework.

- The documentary area refreshed my memory on how to use various types of media equipment such as the camera, tripod and dictaphone which we used in the process of making the documentary. It also refreshed my memory on how to use programmes such as Adobe Premiere Pro which I found useful. Additionally, through watching various documentaries I learnt the codes and conventions and different types of documentaries that exist in the media.

- The music video coursework brief taught me a lot about the codes and conventions of music videos, the different types of music videos and why they are made. Like the documentary coursework brief we were shown several music videos.

- Finally, the video game advertisement coursework brief has taught me how to make a simple website on the website 'wix' and I have also learnt the codes and conventions of video game advertisements.

WHAT COULD YOU IMPROVE ON?- I feel as though I could improve on getting to grips with more useful

camera equipment which could help me with future media products. Furthermore, I feel as though I could improve my editing skills on programmes such as Adobe premiere pro and In Design which I used when making a documentary and creating the front cover of a regional magazine. Finally, I feel as though I could improve on my website design skills which I realised through making a website.

WHICH COURSEWORK BRIEF HAVE YOU CHOSEN?Based on my experience of the coursework briefs, I

have decided to do a magazine as I thoroughly enjoyed making a front cover design for the magazine and I enjoy reading magazines myself. I decided that the video game advertisement coursework brief was not suited to me as I am not interested in video games. Although I like music and documentaries I feel as though it would be hard to start a music video from scratch and I feel as though I would struggle to find people to be in either a music video or a documentary.
