The inte-grated system can achieve fastdigestion, selective enrichment oftargeted glycopeptides, and purifi-cation of non-glycopeptides simul-taneously, which is advantageouswith respect to the conventionalmulti-procedure and time-consum-ing techniques.

The molecular origin of the observed differ-ences is rationalized by DFT calculations, a powerful tool tounderstand in detail the nature of the aggregation in thesedynamic supramolecular polymers.

Such new methods will enable researchers to exploitthe stereochemical richness of the octahedron, and will findapplications in a variety of fields, such as catalysis, materialsscience, and life sciences.
