information practices have submitted along with the
ImmuNet registration list in order to determine which
practices receive COVID-19 vaccines. Read the
clinician letter here. Registration completion does not

Inform Future Policy - Respond to
Telehealth QuestionnaireThe Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) seeks
your response to a brief questionnaire about telehealth.
Questions inquire about the use of telehealth at your
practice before and during the COVID-19 public health
emergency, including perceived benefits and challenges
as well as planned use thereafter. Your response will
help inform future telehealth policy. The questionnaire
takes about five minutes to complete. Your response to
all of the questions is appreciated.
Please complete the questionnaire online.
Thank you in advance. Please contact us at
[email protected] with any questions.

Data Suggests COVID-19
Situation in Maryland
Improving *NewIn the last week, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan
has referenced two statistics that suggest the
COVID-19 situation in Maryland is improving. On
February 21, Hogan announced that COVID-19
hospitalization in Maryland had fallen below 1,000
for the first time since November 16. The next day
Hogan said that the state's COVID-19 positivity rate
was beneath 4%. The last time the COVID-19
positivity rate in Maryland was at such a low rate
was November 2. In his February 22 statement,
Hogan proclaimed, "While fewer Marylanders are
becoming seriously ill, we need to take precautions
so that we can remain on the road to recovery."

MDPCP Updates & Resources
PY2020 ECQM Reporting Requirements
*New"The MDPCP team has received requests for exemptions
from eCQM reporting, including requests to apply the MIPS
reporting exemption to MDPCP. It is critical for CMS to
collect data on performance to assess the impact of the
program and the important care transformation work that
practices are doing. Furthermore, the eCQM data is needed
to assess quality performance for the Performance-Based
Incentive Payment (PBIP). Therefore, all practices are
required to complete eCQM reporting for the CMS165 and
CMS122 measures for PY 2020 per the Participation
Agreement. CMS is, however, in consultation with the State,
reviewing the benchmarks and considering adjustments to
ensure that performance is assessed fairly given the unique
circumstances created by the public health emergency
during PY 2020."

MDPCP Buddy Program - Sign Up! "We are excited to share that this year’s Buddy Program
has launched! During our first round of pairings, we
matched 13 participant practices in buddy groups based on
their self-identified strengths and growth areas. If you are
interested in joining the program for our next round of
pairings, fill out this short survey. The survey will allow us
to match practices based on same starter year, practice
size, and similar preference for care transformation
focuses."
