MDPCP Updates & Resources

PY2020 ECQM Reporting Requirements

*New"The MDPCP team has received requests for exemptions

from eCQM reporting, including requests to apply the MIPS

reporting exemption to MDPCP. It is critical for CMS to

collect data on performance to assess the impact of the

program and the important care transformation work that

practices are doing. Furthermore, the eCQM data is needed

to assess quality performance for the Performance-Based

Incentive Payment (PBIP). Therefore, all practices are

required to complete eCQM reporting for the CMS165 and

CMS122 measures for PY 2020 per the Participation

Agreement. CMS is, however, in consultation with the State,

reviewing the benchmarks and considering adjustments to

ensure that performance is assessed fairly given the unique

circumstances created by the public health emergency

during PY 2020."
