One Day Webinar Organized on Communication Skills by Law Department

The School of Legal Studies, Career Point University, Hamirpur (H.P.) was

organized National Webinar on Communication Skills on 5th May 2021. Prof.

J.K. Mehta, Former Deputy Director (Research), Prasar Bharati, Ministry of

Information & Broadcast and Adjunct Faculty Division of Language, Art and

Culture, Career Point University, Hamirpur was the Eminent Speaker of this

webinar. In inauguration, Prof. K.S. Verma, the Honorable Vice-Chancellor,

Career Point University talked about the bounding between mother and child

communication without any language barrier. The positivity in thoughts also

develops good understanding in communication. Prof. J.K. Mehta discussed

about the Importance of Intellectual Wisdom in our Ved -Puran. He motivated

the students to read Ved-Puran for their Spiritual Intelligence. He also talked

about the importance of Communication in Corporate Sector. He motivated the

students to do regular exercise and meditation for their good health during this

pandemic. Dr Anupam Minhas, HOD of Law department thanked to the eminent

speaker, the dignitaries and the participants to make this webinar successful.

National Webinar Organized on Beekeeping and Rural

Economy by Zoology Department

One Day Online Webinar was organized on Beekeeping and

Rural Economy on 12th May 2021 by Zoology Department,

Career Point University, Hamirpur. Prof. K.S. Verma, the

Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Career Point University

Hamirpur was the Chief Guest of the day. He talked about

the Importance of Honey and Bees. Professor OP Agarwal,

the Honorable Former Vice Chancellor of Gwalior

University, was the eminent speaker of this National

Webinar. He talked about the International & National

research on Beekeeping and Honey. Use of Honey is very

beneficial for health during this pandemic. Prof. Vikas

Nanda, Food Engineering Department of Slite, Punjab

gave the lecture on Use of Honey and Its Benefits. Dr.

Sajjad Ahmed , Baba Shri Ghulam Badshah University of

Jammu & Kashmir Environmental Protection and

Conservation to grow the plants & fruits with the help of

Bees in hilly area. Dr Yunish Ahmed, HOD of Zoology

Department told that more than 100 participants were

participated in this online webinar.

National Online Poster Making Competition in Career

Point University, Hamirpur

Community Development Cell & Red Ribbon Club of

Career Point University, Hamirpur was organized National

Online Poster Making Competition on 19th May 2021. Ms

Shivani from Vijay Ballabh College, Nadaun took 1st

position, Mr Ranjit Kumar from T. John College Bengaluru

& Mr Mukul from Career Point University, Hamirpur took

2nd Position and Ms Shivani & Ms Khusbu from Career

Point University and Mr Aniket Sharma from Jawaharlal

Nehru School Dungri took 2rd position in this competition.

Ms Ridhima Singh from DAV Hamirpur, Ms Priya & Ms

Kusum from Career Point University, Mr Yesh Gerg from

Ambala Cant, Mr Prayash Mahapatra from Odisha, Ms

Ishani Bhardwaj from S.T. Joseph School Chandigarh and

Ms Pallavi Raj From Education Point Mandi were the

selected participants in Commendable Posters also. All the

participants of the competition will be awarded with E-

certificates. Dr Shashi Poonam, the Coordinator of

Community Development Cell talked about Corona

Pandemic with its precautions for health. Dr Gulshan

Sharma, the Member Secretary of Community Development

Cell also told the organized social activities and awareness

regarding various Govt. schemes under the community

Development Cell.

One Day Online Webinar Organized by CLINI India, the Best Institute of India

One Day Online Webinar was organized on Clinical Research & Pharma Co-Vigilance for the students of Life

Science & Pharmacy by Botany Department of Career Point University in collaboration with CLINI India, the

best Institute of India on 26th May 2021. The Importance of Professional Training and Industrial Placement is the

main topic of this webinar. Mr Vishal Choudhary, HOD of Operation Department in CLINI India, Pune was the

Eminent Speaker of this webinar. He motivated the students for the preparation of placement and the expectations

of famed companies from the fresher students. He also highlighted the Higher Salary Opportunity in the field of

Clinical Research & Pharma Co-Vigilance. Dr Shampy Duggal, the Coordinator of webinar told that more than

300 participants were participated in this program. Administration of the University congratulated CLINI India,

the organizers, the faculties of Botany department and the students to make this webinar fruitful.
