Confined Space Train the Trainer

THE CENTER FOR CONSTRUCTIONRESEARCH AND TRAINING

CPWR - The Center for Construction Research and Training will host a ConfinedSpace Train the Trainer from April 30 - May 4, 2012 at IBEW Local 82's TrainingCenter in Dayton, OH. This five-day training is a combination of CPWR's 2-dayhands-on simulated entry training and OSHA's (#226) 3-day classroom-basedconfined space course. The course is open to ALL participating members ofCPWR's hazardous waste training consortium.

Hands-on training includes air monitoring,ventilation, supplied-air respirators (SAR' s),self-contained breathing apparatus(SCBA' s), entry procedures, retrieval andother aspects of permit-required confinedspace entry. Participants will learn torecognize the differences between a permit-required confined space and a non-permittedspace, and will be able to identify the properconditions for entry. Many graduates ofthese courses have gone on to teachconfined space entry for their local JATCs.Participants who complete the course will receive:

While participants must pay their own transportationand lodging expenses, there is no other cost to attend.CPWR does not charge any registration fee.
