Creating Your Bespoke Barge

The barges are hand selected in France and Holland to ensure excellent quality and build. Typically, the hull and super-structure are built of superior heavy steel.

Purchasers will have complete freedom to design their own interiors.

The empty shell provides the equivalent of an individual floating loft-type space, suitable for all kinds of interior layouts and styles.

The barges will also have great deck space, affording residents a large terrace type space of their own, on-site.

Specifications

A maximum of 10 barges will be on site, plus the resident Piermaster’s vessel.

They will take 7 – 10 months from order to completion.

The Oyster Pier barges will offer up to 186 sq m (2,000 sq ft) of living space between 32 m and 40 m long and 5 m wide, with up to 68 sq m (730 sq ft) of outdoor usable space.

These bespoke residential barges will have a 60 year lease at Oyster Pier and have a lower environmental impact than a land based property.

The Oyster Pier barges will be independently navigable.

Prices for each barge (and mooring) with basic fit-out will start at £1.5 million.
