DESCRIPTION

This presentation was given at eLearning 2010 in Fort Worth, TX. The focus is to discuss how existing educational material, supplemented with newly created material, can be organized into a cohesive "object" that might one day be able to replace the traditional textbook, and can already supplement it.

The Basic Idea is…The stuff is already out there…let’s use it!May be more sustainable than the process

of developing fully open textbooksCould a fusion of both techniques represents

the future of content delivery?Fundamentals of the technique are

familiarFaculty are accustomed to assembling

existing content already. This just makes it a more formal and

packaged process.
