WAYS WE CAN HELPYou can save money. You'll know whatyou already own, eliminating the need tobuy duplicate items. A professionalorganizer can help you find the perfectorganizing products for your space andlifestyle, so you stop wasting money onthings you don't need or won't work. You can become more productive andefficient. A professional organizer cancreate order and structure out of chaos. You'll receive systems that work for yourdominant learning style, your lifestyle, your needs, your challenges, and yourdreams. You'll have a positive selfimage andditch the shame. Once your home oroffice is neat and tidy, you won't feelembarrassed to have guests visit. Theguilt will fade away as you take pride inyour surroundings. You'll have a healthier environment.Physical and emotional clutter obscuresyour surroundings. An organized homeand office is more easily cleaned. Losethe clutter and cut down on time spentmoving piles of paper and stuff around. Your stress level will decreasedramatically. When you can find whatyou need, are on top of your todos, andarrive on time, you'll feel calmer and havemore peace of mind. No more feelingoverwhelmed by life you'll be the one incontrol. You'll discover more time for yourself. When you're organized, your days go asplanned, and you get a lot more done. That leaves more time to indulge in a little"me time." Your energy will shine. Clutter is a maskand a professional organizer can helpyou take off that mask. Once the clutter isremoved, you can showcase your talents, skills, and personality and have the lifeyou deserve.

Specific When considering your goals, be as specific as possible. Ifyour goal is to earn a promotion at work, set specific goals along the way.For example, set a specific goal for yourself of landing two new clients inthe first quarter, or being selected as a presenter at a big meeting. Measurable To keep up with your goals throughout the year, you needto be able to easily get a status check. This means your goal should bemeasurable. That way, you'll know how you're working along your road tosuccess. Perhaps you're looking to better manage your family's financesand save more... This is a measurable goal, because you can look to yourbudget spreadsheet and compare it with the actuals to see how you'restacking up. Are you saving as much as you had hoped? If not, you caneven try to pinpoint roadblocks. Achievable Is your goal actually within your reach? Make your goalsomething you'll really be able to accomplish, or else you may never getthe motivation needed to even begin. Setting a goal to live a moreorganized life is a wonderful idea, but setting a goal of organizing all of theclosets in your home by the end of March is actually achievable. Realistic Much like setting an achievable goal, you also want to ensureyour goal is realistic. If you're currently in a coordinator position at work, don't set a goal to be President of the company; it's just not realistic. However, setting a goal of managing a small team or specific project maybe more realistic for you. Timebound This one's an important one set a date for completion ofyour goal! If you don't' give yourself a deadline, it's much more likelyyou'll still be in the same place with your goal a few months, or even ayear down the road! Give yourself dates to work toward throughout theprocess and you'll be there in no time. The Real Order team members are experts on the SMART goal strategyand we're here to help you create goals that will work FOR you and notagainst you. Please contact us today to see how we can help.

What's your clutter style? We recently wrapped up our fourpart "What's Your Clutter Style" featureon the Real Order blog all about recognizing different types of "Clutterers"and how to deal with each one. This series was inspired by an O Magazine's Organizing Expert, Peter Walsh, who initiallyidentified different types of clutterers: Techie Clutterer with tangles of cords and wires pokingout of every imaginable storage space, the TechieClutterer may even have tech devices dating back to the90's covered in coats of dust. They have a difficult timepurging old CDs, discs, even remotes they can't identify.

Knowledge Clutterer portrayed in the form ofbooks, magazines, and excessive amounts of paperin general... There are stockpiles of every bookthey've ever read (or hope to read) and/or every issueof a specific magazine of interest stored in their home. This type of clutterer often prints and stashes online

articles in an overstuffed folder, never to be looked at again. Sentimental Clutterer/Family Historian theyallow an abundance of sentimental stuff to take upresidence throughout their home. They may hoardbaby clothes, kindergarten creations, and gradeschool report cards belonging to fully grownchildren, unsorted boxes of deceased relatives'clothing, knickknacks, and war memorabilia in theattic, basement, and closets.

Bargain Shopper/Coupon Clutterer they may findthemselves stocking up on mailers, clipping couponsfrom the Sunday paper every weekend, and stockingup on a year's worth of deodorant due to a specialthey just couldn't pass up.

If you find yourself struggling with a specific type of clutter, learn how youcan resolve your issue and become better organized by following alongwith this blog series here.

The most difficult thing is the decision to

act, the rest is merely tenacity.
