• 80% of residents have a high school diploma or less, with 52% earning less than $25,000 and 76% earning less than $35,000 a year. Many residents are faced with choosing between rent, food and health care.

• Unemployment rate 10 times greater than that of the City and County of Denver (37% unemployed).

• 87% of residents self-identify as “Hispanic” or “Latino”

• 54% have two or more children and 48% have three or more adults residing in the home.
