● A drop down menu will become visible - now click on the Upload video button

● A screen with an arrow will appear for uploading the video file

● There are two ways to upload a video.○ Select a video file from your

computer and upload○ Use the Drag and drop

option to add the video file

Next two slides will explain both ways to upload video on YouTube.

● Click on the arrow to select pre-saved video from your computer.

● A Window to select a file from your computer will open.

● Select the video file that you want to upload and click on Open.

● You can also upload video by drag and drop method.

● Open a folder where your video is saved in the computer.

● Drag the file near to the arrow.

● Text “Or drag and drop video files” will be highlighted in the green colour.

● Drop your file there.

● Once the video has been selected to be added, screen shown below will appear showing the progress of your upload.

● Once you see the progress has become 100% - the next step is to select ‘Private’ mode from the drop down menu shown in the bottom right hand side of screen under ‘Premiere’

Most Important step to ensure video remains uploaded

● Make your video private by selecting Unlisted from the dropdown menu that appears below PREMIERE

● As soon as you will click on ‘Unlisted’ - the button on right side beside the progress slider will show ‘Done’

● Click on ‘Done’ and your video will have been uploaded in a private mode on youtube

● Once the video has been uploaded - copy the link from the left side of the page and use it to share in the main challenge site.

The final link for the uploaded video. Copy the link and keep it safely and paste it in the ‘ Submit your Idea’ page in the main site for ‘Ideate for India’ to participate in the challenge
