CREATIVITY AND MOTIVATION IN THE SECONDARY CLASSROOM Summary This article presents various aspects referring to creativity and motivation in teaching English for teenagers. As Sir Ken Robinson said, school tends to smother children's creativity and it is up to the teachers to adapt the materials in order to boost students' creative insight as well as motivation. Moreover, in an era of computers and information, it is quite a challenge to keep students motivated. The article summarises the most important aspects about the two topics I learnt during my most recent training, the Comenius course: Creative Activities and Motivating Materials in the Secondary Classroom, Portsmouth. She is interested in applying and eliciting strategies to enhance creativity and motivation in learning. Summary

This article presents various aspects referring to creativity and motivation in teaching English for teenagers.
