Registration of FIR

• This page will allow user to register an FIR and to make relevant entries. User can also

save an FIR multiple times before submitting it finally.

• Save functionality: User can save a blank or half fill FIR multiple times. Only one FIR can

be written at a time. After clicking ‘Save’ FIR number will be generated and until that FIR is

not submitted fully no other FIR can be registered.

Steps

1. Click on ‘Registration’ link.

2. Click on ‘First Information Report’ link.

3. Click on ‘FIR Registration’ link.

System will open FIR registration page

4. Click on ‘Search’ button, if you want to use any existing GD for registration

(User can also generate GD from an FIR)

5. Click on ‘Save’ button to save the FIR (user can click ‘Save’ button under any tab if

required)

FIR number will be generated

6. Select the Acts & Sections, Major head& Minor head from list.

7. Enter or Select the information to be provided.

8. Click on radio button to select when required.

9. Click on Add button after entries are made

1. Click on ‘Occurrence’ tab.

2. Click on ‘Add new’ button.

System will open an Occurrence Information screen above main screen


4. Click on ‘Save’ button and system will add the entry in the grid

System will display the Complainant page

2. Select the Victim type; either ‘Known’ or ‘Unknown’.

3. Click on ‘Add new’ button.

System will open a victim information screen above main screen

– Known

– Unknown

1. Click on ‘Accused’ tab.

System will open the Accused Information window over main window

2. Select the Accused type as ‘Known’ or ‘Unknown’.

3. If the accused type is known enter the correct information available.

4. If the accused type is unknown enter the matching details available.

1. Click on ‘Property of Interest’ tab.

2. Select the Property of Interest as ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.

3. If Yes, click on Add New button.

System will open a Property Information screen above main screen

4. Select the Property Category from the list.

2. Select whether user want to keep FIR secret or not.

3. Select the Action Taken from the list.

4. Click on ‘Submit’ button to submit the information.

Requisition Form.
