Selena Macedo:

In Split, there was a murder of Selena Macedo. She was buried on the top

of Marjan which is very strange because Marjan is a sports centre. Our

police caught the murderer. His name is Edo Mišic and all of his

neighbours said that he was calm and kind man but they also said that

lately he had also acted a little bit strangely. They found him due to a

neighbour’s report.

Found body:

A part of body was found on Zenta (a leg) and after that another one (a

body without legs and arms). The man felt the smell and saw it and then

called the police who investigated everything. They think that the part

came from a nearby hospital.

Antonija Bilic:

We are still shocked by the death of Antonija Bilic which happened last

summer. But the killer was found and the body of Antonija Bilic has not

yet been found. Killer’s name is Paravinja and, at the moment, he is on a

trial in the court in Šibenik. That event got all Croatia on its feet.

Taking bribes:

The teachers in all colleges and high schools in Croatia took bribes from

the students to let them pass the exams. That is a devastating fact and it

is good that they are caught because who would like to have a doctor

like that?!

Case of Ivo Sanader:

Our ex-prime minister Ivo Sanader has been in court for stealing HYPO

and INA-MOL shares. Up to this point we know he has been sentenced with

7 years in prison. All of his things were confiscated and given for an

auction and sold to re-pay his debts.

The generals on freedom:

The Croatia's most famous news is that our generals are free from jail.

The judges in Hague told that they were innocent and that there was no

sense in continuing this so they were released. From that day Gotovina

and Markac (Croatia’s generals) are considered free men. That day the

whole Croatia rose on their feet and said that there will be no more wars

or fights with Serbia, such as Home war, but Serbia did not agree with

that. They think that all of what was happening is just a big fake and

they do not believe it. Right away they rose above the law and start

asking for some entrusted files from the judges. Serbs will not be satisfied

but the main thing is that the justice was complete. Right away in Croatia

celebrations were organized. Gotovina said that, as soon as he can, he

will visit some sanctuaries.

CROATIAN CELEBRETIES

Jelena Rozga's first big concert was held at the Spaladium Arena on the

11th of February 2011. Her style was very similar to the one she had on

previous 3 concerts. A mini dress and high heels. She changed her clothes

3 times and all the dresses were about the same lenght. During her

concert, Jelena called her friend Severina. Please keep in mind that

Severina had a similar dress, a mini dress and high heels. It is certain

that this is the idea Croatia's young population have about clothing.

On Monday night at the election for Mister and Miss of Croatia, Maja Šuput

sang dressed in a corset which she also wore in Vodice at the cmc

festival. The singer appeared on stage in a corset and Fendi high heel

shoes.

At the promotion of a new album by Josko Čagalj (Jackel) Jole in Zagreb,

his colleague in showbiz Maja Šuput appeared in an identical corset worn

by former Miss World’s first runner Anica Kovač. It is certain that the

stars in showbiz are so up the clouds that heir style has become boring

from the amount of times seen.

Why the Hobbit?

"The Hobbit" is considered to be one of the best books written by

J.R.R.Tolkien. Created in the tradition of a fairy tale, with author's effort

to integrate two interests, stories for his three sons and mythology of

England, the book has had a corner in hearts of many readers since it

was first published in September 1937. Being Tolkien's first published

work, „The Hobbit" is often marketed as a prelude to his masterpiece

„The Lord of the Rings", published 17 years later. The book's plot and

characters reflect the author's thoughts about the complexity of human

being."The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug is coming on December

13th, 2013. In the movie, there are so many actors like Sir Ian McKellen,

Christopher Lee, Benedict Cumberbatch and so on. I can't wait to watch

Rise of the guardians

This movie talks about THE GUARDIANS: Sandy guy, Jack Frost, Tooth

Fairy, Easter Bunny, North (Santa Claus) who protect the children from

evil (Nightmare).

GOOD SIDES BAD SIDES

It's amusing cause of its funny

and silly animations.

It's scary and bad in some parts.

It's very magical and it can

encompass our imagination.

It's sad when they kill the hero

of the story (Sandy guy).

But he comes alive at the end of

the movie and saves everybody.

And all of the kids again believe

in guardians.

Evil of the movie (Nightmare)

trapped all the kids in the

nightmares and took all of the

guardian’s powers.

Sandy guy: He's the oldest guardian. He talks through the signs on

the top of his head. He is the ruler of the sand which makes you

have nice dreams. He moves by using the clouds.

Jack Frost: He is the youngest guardian. He is the ruler of the frost.

He rules with that by his rod but he can use hands for the powers.

Tooth Fairy: She is in love with Jack Frost. She has a big army of

small fairies who collect teeth from the children and give them a

gift in return.

Easter Bunny: He doesn't like Jack Frost and I think that he's a little

bit jealous on him. He has a factory of the eggs and machines

which decorate the eggs for the Easter.

North (Santa Claus): He is very happy and at the same time serious.

He keeps all of the guardians together. His weapons are two swords

and he can jump from one chimney to another.

Nightmare (EVIL): He's bad and the only one who doesn't have

allies. He crushes children's dreams and makes them not believe in

the guardians. He can control the black sand too.

WHERE TO GO, WHAT TO SEE...

London...

London is the capital of England

and UK. It is very important

political and financial centre - so

called ''Global City''. It has one of

the busiest airports in the world-

Heathrow. People speak more

than 300 languages in London.

London sights are: Big Ben,

London Eye, London Bridge,

Backingham palace, Trafalgar

Square, St. Paul’s cathedral and

many more. There are a lot of

different nationalities as well as

rich social and culture life. Lots of

shops are very expensive so if you

are not prepared to spend so

much money, think twice before

going there! However, I think

that it would be a great place to

visit for anyone who has money.

you need to see. Many people live

in New York - about 8 million.

New York has many different

districts like Manhattan,

State Island. People are of

different religion. It was founded

in 1925 and back then it was

called New Amsterdam. It has got

over 500 galleries, 150 museums

and about 1700 restaurants. It is

not so good to go to New York

now because there was a

hurricane, but in general, as a

famous person once said: ’As for

New York City, it is a place apart.

There is not its match in any

other country in the world.'

Sidney in the second largest city

Croatian people of different ages

live in Sidney. They are organized

in different clubs and churches.

Australia was once settled by

Aborigines. Sidney is financial,

cultural and economic centre of

Australia; in the city we can see

beach culture and culture in

general. Sidney is known for its

large golf courts royal ganders

and also for the Opera house.

Generally is a very interesting city

and I would recommended it to

every tourist.
