Safety lessons
Last Friday, Miss Farrell held a whole
school lesson focusing on personal safety.
The students brainstormed ways to respond
if they become lost from a known adult.
Each week, our students will participate in
practical lessons to develop self regulation.
Thank you to Mrs Marshall for purchasing
some wonderful resources to support this
initiative at the school.

Dear Parents and Friends of Crossmaglen Public School,
2021 Kindergarten Enrolments
We are now accepting Kindergarten enrolments for 2021. Any child can start school if they
turn 5 on or before 31 July 2021. If you know of any families who may wish to join our school,
please inform Ky in the office. We also have some brochures for you to share with interested
families. Due to current health considerations, Crossmaglen will hold the Kinder Orientation in
Term 4.
Hearing Assessments
Last week Julie Plant, an Audiometric Officer from NSW Health commenced the hearing of
our students. Whilst Julie worked all day, she was unable to test all of our students, so she
will return for another day. For those who were tested, all results were sent home and I
personally emailed those who require a follow up assessment.
Health Reminder
Please remember to keep your child at home if they are unwell, even if they have mild
symptoms. We will make appropriate arrangements to return your child home if they come to
school unwell or if they become unwell at school. Please see the advice link below.

Last week the staff commenced training in the next 4 year
school plan. Over the next 3 terms, we will be consulting with
teachers, school staff, students and parents.
Bucket Filler
Congratulations to Lacey who was drawn out as our Bucket
Filler last Friday.
New delivery
Last week, our additional toilet block arrived. We now await
the ramp, plumbing and electricity.
Happy Education Week.
