Pick up of semen from either Crossroads Genetics or Premium Blend Sires may be made at either location on the afternoon/evening of collection day. This will get semen within 1 hour’s drive for much of Indiana and many parts of Ohio and Illinois.

ed Drop Shot boar geared for Belton that they thought was the best crossbred boar they had ever raised, we knew we had to get to

Rensselaer to see him. With the excitement al-ready brewing around Clayton due to numer-

When he stepped out of the pen it was apparent he wasn’t 100% but he still blew us away! his brother that night! Now with all cylinders clicking, he impresses us beyond belief. He too is incredibly stout in his bone and skeleton with great big feet. Earthquake was the Champion Duroc Boar at the 2012 Winter Type Confer-ence where he turned heads and caused uproar due to his attributes never before seen by many along ringside. Quite simply put, Earthquake is a freak of nature when it comes to the positives he brings to the table. Never before have we laid eyes on a red boar with this much natural muscle mass and width of skeleton!

To quote our good friend Ralph Doak “He is the biggest blad-ed, heaviest boned, widest chested, most massive animal I have ever seen of any breed!” He is one that is incredibly stout, being jumbo legged with great big feet and square even toes. high quality Duroc boars. When we saw this Malone entry in Louisville, we knew

he needed to come home with us.

We loved this one for his jaw-drop-ping muscle shape, killer showpig

look and awesome flexibility. He is one that comes at you wide and leaves you in the same man-ner. He is jet level in his build and choked fronted thru his front 1/3. We feel that the dia-mond in the rough on this one could be his ability to work back on Hacksaw and Earthquake daughters!

We had big expectations for Reality this summer and all intentions of selling him until an injury prevented him from gonig to Louisville or Indiana. Truth is, we may not have been able to afford selling him. As we begin to piece to-gether our initial sire lineup, we feel that Reality has a chance to make a big splash.

He has read like a breeding hog to us since he was weaned; stout fronted and still attractive, wide chested and tremendous blade and forearm. Reality has the true muscle shape and mass you’d expect from a Hampshire herd boar. He’s athletic in his skeleton with clean joints, big feet and even toes.

His pedigree speaks for itself, sired by Homegrown and out of Unreal’s mother. Just as Unreal continues to leave his mark on the Hampshire breed, we have total confidence that Reality will be heard from.

Hacksaw is one tough built, heavy duty red boar that has great skeletal width and can go all day. Of the boars offered at Indiana, Hacksaw stood apart in his combination of base width, ribshape and his unmatched foot and bone. He’s stout skulled, bold in his blade and forearm and opens up with a huge chest and center cavity. While many hogs lack durability and stami-na, Hacksaw is built to last and has a great foundation and correct skeleton.We couldn’t be more excited about this addition to Crossroads Genetics.

Wow what a rare find in this one!!! We would like to first off thank our good friend Seth Gilstrap for making this pow-erhouse Yorkshire boar available to us. Seth had been

telling us about this young boar prospect he had on feed from his fall set and when we had the opportunity to view him we were blown away!

Never before had we seen a Yorkshire boar with this much width and muscle and still be able to get out and han-dle it. Every aspect of this one’s skeleton reads stout! He is huge legged with great big feet and toes and a monster forearm.

When this one comes at you, his chest width is amazing and then he leaves you with the same impeccable width. This one is square built and as durable and athletic as you will find. Study this one from the top side and he has an enormous rump and maintains that down thru his blades. His rib shape and depth of body will take your breath away!

Forgive and Forget is a very unique in-dividual that we feel will make Chesters better! He is one that is dead level, up headed and cool fronted. He is busted open in his chest floor and goes away with that same added width and square build behind. He is stout in his skeleton having big feet and square, even toes. Add to that his expressive hip and shapely top, makes this one a class act. His best attribute may be his flexibility of his skeleton. This is one that can flat get out and move! He is incredible in his length of stride off his front end and follows suite behind as he fill his tracks when he motors! His hip and hind leg structure is ideal to make competitive show hogs that go out and get the job done! hails from a deep litter! A pair of his sisters have racked up quite the suc-cess in the show ring - one being named Champion Berkshire Gilt in the Junior Show

at the Ohio State Fair as well as many time Champion or Reserve Berkshire Gilt in the Ohio Jack-pot Circuit, while the other one was Reserve Champion Berkshire Gilt in the Open Show at the Ohio State Fair and a numerous time Champion or Reserve Berkshire Gilt on the Ohio Jackpot Circuit too! Dead Man Walking has us excited for the potential he has to make super competitive Berkshire show hogs as he is packed full of shape and muscle, stout in his bone, and flexible in his build. He is one that comes at you wide and leaves you the same way. Jet level in his skeleton and choke fronted thru is head and neck. Study this one from the top side and you will see his enormous hip, massive back and big blade. Watch him at his base and you will be in awe with his monster chest and impeccable width going away. We feel Dead Man Walking will be a key ingredient to the Berkshire formula here at Crossroads to work on Black Magic daughters and he couldn’t be happier to have him on stud.

CLASS WINNING BERKSHIRE BOAR 2009 CPS STC Black Magic is originally a boar that we raised and entered at the ‘09 Summer Type Conference that was purchased by Kirk Miller.

After starting Crossroads and seeing what powerful siring ability Black Magic had, we knew we had to get him back here on stud. In his time at Millers he produced Katie Pilcher’s $3200 Class-Winning Gilt at the ‘10 Summer Type Conference and the Champion Berk Gilt at the Circle of Gold. Long story short, Kirk graciously let him come back to Indiana and we are very pleased he did.

Black Magic is an incredible Berkshire boar. He is extremely stout and massive in his make up. Huge feet, big even toes and tree trunks for legs sets this one apart from the rest. Add in his awesome hip and hind leg to his dead level skeleton and long, extended head and neck makes this guy a sure bet. Not to mention is unbelievable power and dimension for a mature boar should leave breed-ers wanting to come back for more. Sired by our Black Magic boar and out of the 2010 SWTC Champion Conover sow from Belton a couple years ago make this one a sure bet to make Berkshire hogs better.
