CTY Online benefits
Challenging coursework, tailored to each student
Expert faculty, with very low student-teacher ratio
Flexible formats:
Individually paced: Students can progress on their own schedules and postpone for vacations and breaks. (most math, science, and computer science courses)
Session-based: Specific start and end dates, and due dates for assignments (writing, grammar, critical reading, world languages, most AP courses)
Flexi-paced: Student and instructor set the schedule that best matches the student’s needs (writing)
Benefits for schools: Expands academic options; avoids busing to higher level school; avoids grade skipping; eliminates need to hire advanced teachers for small numbers; helps the school’s teachers focus on students who need more face-to-face help.
