ABOUT:

Firodiya Karandak is an inter-collegiate theatre competition held at Pune. Every year, colleges I and around Pune participate in this competition. This competition is in run since a long. NBNSSOE is participating in this event since 2015.

NAME OF THE PLAY: Law of Quantis

THEME: The play was directed by Omkar Borulkar, BE Mechanical and Priyanka Nikam, ME E&TC, NBNSSOE. The play was based on the Law of Quantis. The play goes a long way beautifully capturing the emotions of the Princess, her grandmother and her father who were suffering very badly because of this strange law.

SYMBIOSIS KARANDAK

ABOUT:

Symbiosis Karandak is an Inter Collegiate Marathi Drama Reading Competition in which students from more than 25 colleges in and around Pune participate. Dramas are judged based on reading skills, voice modulation and direction which are basics of any form of theatre art. Symbiosis Karandak is a prestigious drama competition in Pune, known from past 33 years.

NAME OF THE PLAY: “Ek Unad Divas”

THEME: The play was based on the relationship between a husband and wife and their life 20 years after their marriage. The plot is based on the letter written by them to each other.

ABOUT:

Purushottam Karandak is an inter-collegiate theatre competition held at Pune. Every year, 51 colleges of Savitribai Phule Pune University participate in this competition. This competition is in run since last 50 years. NBNSSOE is participating in this event since 2012.

NAME OF THE PLAY: FARHAT

THEME: The script is written by Hanumansing Rajput, TE Mechanical, NBNSSOE. The same student was the director of the play. The play is based on the relationship between two lovers who are poets – shayari writers. The girl in the play comes to know that she is suffering from last stage of cancer. Since the pains are unbearable, she demands mercy killing from her lover. The play goes a long way beautifully capturing the emotions of both as true lovers as well as ‘Shayari’ with the fact that they can’t live together. For the best acting Mr. Vishwa Thakkar, SE Mechanical won the prize in the primary round.

THEME: The play was directed by Omkar Borulkar, TE Mechanical. The play was based on the sacrifice ( Ahuti) of two Engineers who decide to dedicate their life for the development of rural area when they visited one village for some survey purpose for the construction of a dam.

THEME: The play was directed by Smita Wagh, BE Mechanical and Suyog Bhore, TE Computer, NBNSSOE. The play is based on the businessman who has come from Gulf Countries to an Indian village. The play goes a long way beautifully capturing the emotions of the businessman and the villagers. For best classical singing Mr. Mohit Karle, TE Mechanical won the prize in the primary round.
