    Cultural Catastrophe Part 5Week 2

Last week we began ministering on how that theculture of times past was apparent by outwardadornment and physical idolatry . We will continue inthis same avenue realizing that we are changed intowhat we worship, and what if it isnt God?

We have come to realize that the times are perilousand truly we are witnessing the eternal plan of Godcome to culmination. We realize that there is a powerbehind this system that is seeking to deceive us.

Watch is the keyword for all those on the walls of thiscity, for all the families that live inside of this city

What if we are being conformed instead of transformed ? We are convinced that thenature of this deception is not visible to ournatural recognition system, but only can berevealed by our spiritual recognition system

God always raises up someone, He hashistorically sought for men and women whowill answer the call in their generation.

In Jeremiah 1, the bible speaks of the call of thisman, his response is much like the response of any generation that loves God yet seems

insignificant in the big plan. He tells God that heis not renowned for his wisdom or has not yetearned a seat at the gate. His experience orinfluence has not yet matured.

God doesnt listen to his excuses, He gives Himthe only criteria necessary for any generation orperson, that is

5Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;and before thou camest forth out of the womb Isanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet

unto the nations. 8Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to

deliver thee, saith the LORD. 9Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched

my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, Ihave put my words in thy mouth.

19 And they shall fight against thee; but theyshall not prevail against thee; for I am withthee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

What greater measure of Gods presencewould we need than these promises?

You see once a culture has become so

engrafted into Gods cultural people it takesan intervention on Gods part, The language of the Bible says it like this..

10See, I have this day set thee over the nations andover the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, andto destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.Jeremiah 1.10

Root out bespeaks of something that has began tobear fruit upward because of something that has rootsdownward. Something that was not handled in thebeginning but now has a real hold on lives..

Pull down speaks to me of something that has beenhidden and now the curtain or uncovering of that maskis at hand..

What is it to destroy , from the original of having no wayto flee. Destroying the works of the devil in peoples lives, stop the path that they are on and giving them a change of direction. Many are on the wrong road waiting for it tomerge into the right road, it never happens. If this culturehas you trapped then you need for God to loose you andset you free.

You have heard of the modern colloquialism of do you wantto throw down, to throw down means we begin to engagethe enemy where the battles are being fought. We aregoing to have to get out of the flesh and get into the spiritto engage this enemy. The battle is not being fought inwhat we see, that is only the fruit of how the battle isgoing.

It is a God ordained thing that the house of the latterwould be greater than that of the former. We have beenlooking through the wrong paradigm, trying to use thesame vernacular or literally trying to imitate the book of Acts. That is not what we are supposed to be doing, we arecreating a book of remembrance based on the Pauls andthe Peters, and the men and women of this generation. We are the latter, and all of heaven is waiting for theActs of the Latter House to be written. The question iswho will be the next Timothy, the next Aquilla and Priscilla, the next Stephen. It will be those whom God has called andhas given divine calling and enablement to get the workdone.

This is my point about the culture of Jesus, Iam tired of trying to imitate, I just cant do it,imitate a revival, imitate or use the same

words to heal, imitate the same tongue, doingthe same thing but only an imitation, a smallreplica of the real.

God is calling us to create this environment of His culture, where His words, and Spirit giveus direction for this generation and the future.

The work is great, time is short but God will get the workdone, the task may seem insurmountable, but comes topass the scripture that relates to the overwhelming

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wisemen after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, arecalled:

    27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world toconfound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak thingsof the world to confound the things which are mighty;

    28

And base things of the world, and things which aredespised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not,to bring to nought things that are:

29That no flesh should glory in his presence. 1 Cor 1:26-29

    The Consequences

17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, andspeak unto them all that I command thee: be notdismayed at their faces, lest I confound theebefore them Jeremiah 1:17

Confusion is not knowing what to do in the midst

of surrounding activity. It is like seeing doubleand not knowing which is the real object. Satanwants the church to be ignorant of his devices.

    1 Corinthians 12:1,2 1Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I

would not have you ignorant. 2Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away

unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Remember idolatry can be defined as a social

phenomena where a false perception iscreated and worshipped.

In the battle of the ages, Satan in these lastdays has disguised and hidden inside of culture, his plan to make us think that we areoperating inside of normal life. However thisplan is intended to create a power that drivesand builds importance in the mind of the

believer until they refuse to recognize that astronghold from this system has them incaptivity.

The Chamber of Imagery 3For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war

after the flesh: 4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal,

but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

5Casting down imaginations, and every high thingthat exalteth itself against the knowledge of God,and bringing into captivity every thought to theobedience of Christ; (or the culture of Christ)

We must understand that every other idealism, value system, that is worshipped or adored byway of honor has slavery at its end.

God is the only source of freedom, every otherpower source seeks to enslave us. We becomesubject to the demands of that thought , feeling

or status. The definition of the world is the mass of

thoughts, ideas, and opinions contrary to God

There is a battle between fallen Lucifer andGod over who you will worship. Lucifer has ahidden agenda, God commands that we loveHim with all of our heart, soul, mind and body. When we join ourselves under the guise of culture and life, this captivity evolves to

deception and Gods truths fall by thewayside. It will be the dividing point of delusion.

The Catastrophe Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their

heart, and put the stumblingblock of their iniquity beforetheir face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

    4

    Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus saiththe Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that settethup his idols in his heart, and putteth the stumblingblock of his iniquity before his face, and cometh to the prophet; Ithe LORD will answer him that cometh according to themultitude of his idols;

5That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all estranged from me through their idols.

Thats why the scripture teaches us that we arenot warring with things we can see, but with thatinfluence ( For we wrestle not against flesh andblood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.) thatdraws us away from God that is hidden inside of culture. It is a form of witchcraft because it is so

cloaked in everyday life. Worship can be definedas what you put time and devotion into. Whereyour treasure is, there is the heart of the matter.

What is Gods heart toward us? 1From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not

hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot

obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may

consume it upon your lusts. 4Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of

the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friendof the world is the enemy of God.

5Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, Thespirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

the Lord for the body. 14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and willalso raise up us by his own power.

15 Know ye not that your bodies are the membersof Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? Godforbid.

15 I speak as to wise men; judge ye what I say. 16

The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not thecommunion of the blood of Christ? The breadwhich we break, is it not the communion of thebody of Christ?

17 For we being many are one bread, and onebody: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

18 Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they whicheat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would notthat ye should have fellowship with devils.

21Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, andof the table of devils.

22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we strongerthan he?

30 For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that forwhich I give thanks? 31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to

the glory of God. 32 Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to

You see one way or the other you are going toreceive a mark, the Mark of God is a call that youhave decided that this is what you are going todo. You are going to participate in the EternalPlan of God.

The mark of the man of sin is a mark thatrecognizes your dependence on this system for

your needs and security. Both incur the judgment of God, one for eternal

salvation, the other for eternal damnation.

In summation, what is the first warning, it is thatthis culture has disguised a system that haspower and influence inside of every day life thatwants to change where your devotion lays. It willcause you to reason the absurdity of the issueaway and open yourself up for deceit. You willworship it, your defense of this power will be the

evidence that it is competing with God. The nextwarning will show your heart, based on denial, you willingness to sacrifice.
