DISTRICT MANAGER: The Spokesman-Review is currently recruiting for a full-time District Manager position in our Circulation department.

What's A Typical Week Like? All District Managers work Wednesday and Sunday, plus 3 other assigned days. Your shift begins at 12:30 a.m. by making rounds to your assigned distribution centers and drop-off locations. You will use your own reliable vehicle (we reimburse your mileage!) to go where you're needed to ensure complete customer satisfaction in your district. In fact, you can earn a monthly bonus based on customer satisfaction. You will contract and integrate new carriers in your district and ensure that independent contractor compliance requirements are met. If a subscriber in your area is unhappy, you will use your superior customer service skills to resolve their complaint. You will keep a sharp eye on all route assignments and delivery areas to be sure that our loyal subscribers are happy customers!

EDITORIAL ASSISTANT:The Spokesman-Review is currently looking for a full-time Editorial Assistant to work in our Newsroom. What you will do as an Editorial Assistant: Deliver information to reporters and editors by phone and email, along with assisting with various projects . Responsible for distributing daily papers and mail. Order office supplies. Perform occasional research for readers and staff. Call and confirm letters to the editor and type letters into database for print. Compile information to create birth, centennial and anniversary announcements. Monitor WebTeam inbox and respond to readers. Prepare TV grids, crosswords and comics for print in the newspaper. Enter into database calendar listings for home, religion, art and family calendars and prepare daily for print

edition.

Qualified applicants must have: Prior experience with Microsoft Word and we prefer knowledge of Mac programs. HELP DESK TECHNICIAN:The Spokesman-Review is currently seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician to provide assistance to company users of company provided information resources technology.

Position Duties Include:• Overseeing the daily performance of computer systems.• Answering user questions regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.• Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems,

or appropriate software.

• Installing and performing minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following manufacturers or IT documentation.

• Maintaining records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities by using our helpdesk software.

• Meeting with users, or performing computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.

Skills Needed:• Able to install Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems.• Basic Knowledge of the MAC operating system.• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems to be able to diagnose and fix issues. If a

Janitor:Centennial Properties is currently recruiting for two FULL-TIME Janitors. In this position you will clean company work spaces including floors, furniture, equipment, walls and windows. MACHINIST/MILLWRIGHTThe Spokesman-Review is currently seeking a full-time Machinist/Millwright to troubleshoot, repair mechanical problems, manufacture and rebuild parts in the production area of our paper. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong work ethic, has the ability to setup and operate manual machine shop equipment to close tolerances (lathes, mills, ECT) and who has a working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics. This position will repair, make, and install parts for all of our company’s production equipment. Days and hours are as follows: Tuesday-Thursday 5:30pm-2:00am, Friday and Saturday 6:30pm-3:00am.

What you will do as a Machinist/Millwright: Learn the functions of, troubleshoot and repair production equipment. Make and install parts for all production equipment. Be self motivated and work independently.

Qualified applicants will be able to: Ability to operate basic machine shop tool. Work safely on all machining equipment. Work unsupervised and with other departments to solve equipment problems.

This position directly oversees the daily activities, workload and personnel who transport the products and those of our commercial delivery partners to the independent contractors who deliver to the customers. The role is responsible for managing all aspects of the fleet, maintenance garage and the distribution centers/drop points.

What you will do as a Transportation Supervisor: Monitor the transportation budget to ensure funds are properly utilized.

This position directs newsgathering and presentation for Saturday and Sunday; in addition, the position works in the role of a copy editor on other assigned days. In the role of Weekend ACE, the position has the responsibility and authority to make decisions regarding coverage priorities and placement of content in print and online. In the role of Copy Editor, the position will edit stories, write headlines, design pages, work in the online content management system and handle some duties on the company media site.

What you will do in this position: Edit stories for spelling, grammar, style and clarity. Ensure fairness in stories and check for consistency with previous stories as needed. stories Assess the newsworthiness of events to determine whether and what level of coverage is required and direct the

necessary resources, which might include calling in additional reporters, photographers and/or editors. Coordinate coverage with photo, copy desk and page designers. Post stories and other material online and editing online content as needed to keep our homepage fresh. Push out our content on social media platforms with appropriate links and art. Edit copy as it is submitted and work with reporters to improve that content. Maintain and update content budgets as needed.
