Course Description
Bachelor of Cumputer Engineering ( B.E. Computer ) is a four year technical academic program awarding
a degree of Engineer in Computer Science. B.E. produces a hardcore specialist in any faculties. A solid
background of Science and brilliant Mathematics is emphasized in any faculties of Engineering and so
does BE computer. The program of study of BE computer is over a period of eight semesters ( four
academic years ). The courses are complemented with laboratory practices with state-of-the art-
computing systems.
Objectives
The objectives of BE computer are:
To provide students the fundamental knowledge and skill developing them as a high quality leading
engineer and advanced researcher standing among the 21st century's info-based society.
To produce high class manpowers in favour of country and country's development fully skilled and
trained to solve any software/hardware problems, discover software solutions to different business
procedures related to organizations.
To Provide an in-depth knowledge of specific sub-disciplines chosen by the students as areas of
special interest in the form of elective courses.
Career Opportunities
Computer engineering graduates are employed in essentially all areas of industry, government and
education. They serve as customized application developers, systems analysts, network administrators,
software engineers and database administrators, and involve themselves in the process of solving
problems in various walks of life like business, social and scientific research and development.
Future Studies
BE graduates can proceed to pursue Masters-level studies in Computer Engineering, Information and
Communication, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration and other areas.
