Provider Relations Director (2002-2003)

Planning and Research Coordinator (2001)

Responsible for managing the provider relations division. Overseeing the enrollment,

monitoring, and development of over 100 home and community-based care providers.

Developing a strategic plan for delivering aging services in the central Ohio area.

Collecting data on the needs of older adults through stakeholder focus groups and

surveys. Analyzing primary and secondary data sources, and facilitating the development

of goals and objectives in response to identified needs. Consulting on evaluation and

research projects for the agency and central Ohio.

Franklin County Office on Aging, Columbus, OH

Quality Improvement Manager (1997-1998)

Developed, implemented and coordinated a continuous quality improvement initiative.

Facilitated workgroups focused on problem solving and improving internal work

processes. Coordinated the administration of a survey to determine the impact of in-home

services on older adult clients. Worked collaboratively with the Area Agency on Aging

to develop systems to maintain relationships with service providers.

Generations United, Washington, DC

Intergenerational Coordinator (1996-1997)

Analyzed and tracked cross-generational public policies. Coordinated and facilitated

public policy forums. Provided technical assistance, information and referrals, and

training on intergenerational program development to practitioners. Facilitated

collaborative partnerships with organizations interested in intergenerational programming

and policies. Developed concept papers and grants proposals focused on using

intergenerational approaches to meet community needs. Represented Generations United

and presented at national conferences.

American Association of Retired Persons, Washington, DC

Administrative Technician, Intergenerational Activities (1995-1996)

Assisted with national intergenerational program planning, development and

implementation. Provided technical assistance to intergenerational practitioners.

Developed, coordinated and administered a national survey on intergenerational shared

site programs. Monitored and tracked public policies that impact grandparent headed

households. Assisted with the management and coordination of Grandparent Information

Center services. Researched and wrote about issues that affect grandparent caregivers.

Developed and implemented an evaluation of the Center. Coordinated, edited and wrote

the Center's newsletter.
