i. Undergraduate: I am involved in teaching medical students in small groups for
nephrology and pediatric nephrology. These sessions are spread throughout the year.
I participate in 2-3 sessions per year. There are approximately 10 to 20 students in
each session.
ii. Graduate (course and student supervision): I am supervising1 Masters level a
student (Dr. Bhavneet Kahlon, MSc candidate, Department of Community Health
Sciences, University of Calgary).
iii. Postgraduate (research and clinical fellows): I am a small group preceptor for the
annual pediatric residents’ research course at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. In
addition, I have ongoing teaching commitments for the pediatric residency and
pediatric nephrology fellowship training programs. I am supervising 2 post-doctoral
fellows.
iv. Continuing Medical Education (CME): I am invited to give CME talks to various
audiences including physicians and allied health throughout the year; these are as
listed in the invited addresses section.
