Capenhurst TMF Uranium Nuclear Project/Interserve Industrial Services.Based at TMF Project Phase 1, Capenhurst, Cheshire.Employed as a Pipe Fitters Mate (Bymat Operator) October 2014- January 2015Now employed as a Pipefitter-Improver. January 2015-Present.

Pipefitter Improvership Level 2 & 3 ECITB – Working with a team of Pipfitters learning every aspect of pipefitting e.g. Understanding isometric drawings, locating and identifying spools from lay-down areas and installing, fabrication of stainless steel, carbon pipework & setting up pipework ready to be welded. Liasing with supervisors and pipe superintendant as to delivery of spools needed for specific area being worked on.

Bymat - Using bymat RS 1024 machine to bymat all welds. Re-oxidising the stainless steels spools in the cleaning process, removing rust spots from pipework,welds & punching out pipelines too. Collating all welds information, liasing with quality assurancee team and senior welding inspector as to progress and punching pipelines as when prioritised.

Storeman - as and when required. Issuing the tradesmen with tools, equipment, P.P.E. they require & replenishing stock levels.

Assisting welders mate, setting up welding sets and purge hoses for welders as and when needed.

Adhering to all site safe plan of action, permit to work, method statements & risk assessments in the process of health safety.

Working within a team of pipe fitters, mechanical fitters & welders. Assisting welders, setting up argon banks connecting and removing, and installing

welding sets as and when to be used, also fire watching for the welder. Storeman - as and when required. Issuing the tradesmen with tools, equipment, P.P.E.

Working with a team of pipe fitters & mechanical fitters on the CMS2 site. Assisting as and when required with the removal & installation of pipework,flanges &

various size valves, providing specified gaskets and nuts/bolts as per ISO drawings. Removal of old pipework, valves and flanges to de-contamination unit. Assisting in the task of pressure testing new pipework with pipe/mechanical fitters. Adhering to all site and HSE requirements regarding permits to work, hot work permits

etc.

Essar Stanlow Manufacturing Complex Shutdown/Amec GSU Unit. Based at Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.Employed as a Pipe Fitters Mate. September 2013 – November 2013.

Based at the GSU Unit on the Stanlow site, I was part of a team of pipe fitters & mechanical fitters and my duties included.

Working with and assisting the team of fitters in all aspects of removing/installation of pipework, gaskets, flanges & valves of various sizes.

Locating, supplying & preparation of all tools required to all fitters to complete the task in hand.

Supplying and locating of any new or specific PPE & RPE required when working with potentially hazardous pipework/valves.

As per work diagrams/drawings that correct bolts, gaskets & flanges have been supplied, also swapping new for old bolt work and preparing before installation.

Adhering to all site, HSE regulations & ESSAR safe working requirements.Interserve Industrial Services – EVAP ‘D’ Nuclear Modules ProjectBased at Pioneer Point, Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.Employed as a Pipe Fitters Mate. July 2012 – September 2013.

To assist in all aspects of Pipe Fitting i.e., stripping out & hot bolting. Storeman - as and when required. Issuing the tradesmen with tools, equipment, P.P.E.
