Nutritional Benefits: • PKE is a low cost form of dry matter, ideal for times of dry matter shortage. • PKE contains good levels of crude protein and medium energy levels and is completely safe to feed as a supplement for most classes of livestock. • PKE is ideally suited to feeding in conjunction with high energy feeds such as grain based feeds or molasses. Dried Distillers Grains with Solubles is the dried residue remaining after grain starches have been fermented in the process of producing bio ethanol in combination with yeasts and enzymes. A course dark coloured free flowing granular powder with a pleasant fermented odour. Nutritional Benefits: • DDGS is an excellent source of digestible protein and energy for cows that is rich in cereal and residual yeast protein, minerals and vitamins. • DDGS contains good levels of protein and fat (Corn DDG usually contains higher protein and energy than Wheat DDG). • DDGS has a relatively high level of bypass protein. This effectively means increased utilisation of protein which can increase milk production. • Excellent palatability due to yeast fermentation flavours. DDGS CANOLA MEAL Canola Meal is a high protein dairy feed containing approximately 36.5% crude protein. Canola Meal is a by-product from the extraction of oil for human consumption and has a strong reputation of enhancing appetites in lactating cows. Nutritional Benefits: • Canola Meal is an excellent source of digestible protein. • Canola Meal has been shown to enhance appetites and milk flow in lactating cows. • Canola Meal is an ideal feed to help balance lower protein feed options such as summer pasture and maize silage. SOYBEAN MEAL Soybean Meal is a high protein, highly palatable feed. Soybean Meal is ideally suited for feeding in early spring or summer when the protein content in pasture generally decreases. Nutritional Benefits: • Soybean Meal offers an economical source of supplemental, highly digestible protein, composed of a superior blend of amino acids, the building blocks of the body. • Soybean Meal contains a high protein content of which a large percentage is rumen undegradable (“by-pass”) and 65 percent is rumen degradable. • Soybean Meal has the highest percentage of essential amino acids for optimal responses. PKE Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is a by-product of the palm oil extraction process from the fruit of the palm.

Nutritional Benefi ts: • PKE is a low cost form of dry matter, ideal for times of dry matter

shortage.• PKE contains good levels of crude protein and medium energy levels

and is completely safe to feed as a supplement for most classes of livestock.

• PKE is ideally suited to feeding in conjunction with high energy feeds such as grain based feeds or molasses.

been fermented in the process of producing bio ethanol in combination with yeasts and enzymes. A course dark coloured free fl owing granular powder with a pleasant fermented odour.

CANOLA MEALCanola Meal is a high protein dairy feed containing approximately 36.5% crude protein. Canola Meal is a by-product from the extraction of oil for human

consumption and has a strong reputation of enhancing appetites in lactating cows.

Nutritional Benefi ts: • Canola Meal is an excellent source of digestible protein.• Canola Meal has been shown to enhance appetites and milk fl ow in

lactating cows. • Canola Meal is an ideal feed to help balance lower protein feed

options such as summer pasture and maize silage.

SOYBEAN MEAL Soybean Meal is a high protein, highly palatable feed. Soybean Meal is ideally suited for feeding in early spring or summer when the protein content in pasture generally decreases.

Nutritional Benefi ts: • Soybean Meal offers an economical source of supplemental, highly

digestible protein, composed of a superior blend of amino acids, the building blocks of the body.

• Soybean Meal contains a high protein content of which a large percentage is rumen undegradable (“by-pass”) and 65 percent is rumen degradable.

STARCH OPTIONS

CORN PELLET The Corn Pellet is manufactured from high quality corn, wheat pollard and binder, resulting in a concentrated source of highly palatable and digestible starch and energy for the dairy cow.

Nutritional Benefits:• The high starch content of the Corn Pellet is ideal for lactating dairy

cows to help product more milk and importantly, milk protein. • The Corn Pellet should be fed in controlled situations and introduced

slowly to the cow’s diet to minimise the risk of rumen acidosis. • The Corn Pellet is ideal for blending with other feeds to meet specific

nutrient or budget targets and has the added benefit of being pelleted for easy uptake and flowability when used in In-Shed feeding systems.

• It has been proven that heat treated, pelleted grains offer better digestibility within the animal and encourage increased productivity and body condition than whole or kibbled/cracked grains.

MIXED GRAIN PELLET Mixed Grain Pellet is a pellet containing premium quality wheat, oats, pea pollard, pea kibble with added calcium.

Nutritional Benefits: • The high quality Mixed Grain Pellet contains a high level of

starch which is digested by certain rumen bacteria to produce propionic acid.

• Pelletised products have been shown to offer a 10% - 30% increase in digestibly in comparison to non-pelletised products. This is due to the small particle size of the pellet increasing digestive efficiency as well as the steaming process unlocking the protein and energy contained within the pellet.

• The Mixed Grain Pellet contains pea pollard and pea kibble and has a desirable amino acid profile as well as containing by-pass protein.

• With the inclusion of calcium, the Mixed Grain Pellet improves the balance of the feed with the aim to improve productivity.

OAT HULL PELLET As the name suggests the Oat Hull Pellet is produced from oats. The processing of oats for human consumption produces by-products such as oat hulls, broken groats

and oat bran. Oat Hulls are the outside husk and groats are the internal germ of the oat which is one of the highest energy sources available. Oat Hull Pellets are lower in protein and energy and are ideal to help reduce cost and cost effectively increase dry matter intake.

Nutritional Benefits: • The Oat Hull Pellet offer a lower cost pelleted feed providing

nutritional and financial benefits.• The Oat Hull Pellet contains a low-medium level of starch and is

therefore suitable for inclusion is most dairy cow diets.• The Oat Hull Pellet is 100% GMO free. The pellet is manufactured in

a mill that is subject to standards for human consumption. • The Oat Hull Pellet has a fantastic fit in most rations to provide a cost

effective way of getting additional starch and energy into the diet. • The Oat Hull Pellet is very palatable and can be used as a tool for

maximising returns, whether by blending with other products or as a stand-alone product.

KIBBLED MAIZE Kibbled Maize is a locally grown, energy dense, high starch feed.

Nutritional Benefits: • Kibbled Maize is more digestible than whole grains and has a more

stable release within the rumen than some other grain types. • Containing over 70% starch, Kibbled Maize is ideal for adding to

blended feeds in spring through to the early summer period when pasture is generally lower in starch and higher in protein.

• Kibbled Maize will not keep as long as pelleted feeds so should be used accordingly.
