Customer Service PoliciesReturned Check Policy

A $30.00 charge will be made on returned checks. Prices

All prices are effective with the date printed on the cover and supersede all otherpublished prices. All prices are suggested retail and prices are subject to changewithout notice. We make every effort to notify all customers of such changes.Payment Terms

OCI standard terms are Net 30 days. Discount or credit terms may be changedor cancelled at any time. All new accounts are required to submit a 50% deposit ofthe order amount prior to the order entry, and balance at the time of delivery. Ifpayments are not made according to OCI terms of sale, the unpaid balance shall besubject to late charges of 1.5% per month, or 18% per year.

Shipping OCI arranged freight is for dock to dock deliveries to our customers only. If you

want orders delivered to your customers, there will be an additional charge. Pleasecall OCI for freight quote.

All shipments are F.O.B Santa Fe Springs, CA and are landed for aminimal drop charge of $95.00 within the 48 contiguous states.

Areas outside of major metropolitan areas are considered remote.Please call OCI Sitwell before quoting project.

Freight ClaimsPlease do not refuse merchandise damaged in transit. All shipments are picked

up by your carrier in good condition. It is the responsibility of the purchaser toexamine all merchandise at the time of delivery for the evidence of damage. Allcartons must be opened and the contents checked for concealed damage. If theshipment is received short or damaged, please make a note on the Bill of Lading andfile a claim with OCI.

Things to keep in mind when receiving a damaged or short shipment: 1. Make sure carrier signs Bill of Lading with the discrepancy. 2. Write the model number and type of damage you are claiming. 3. Save the carton from the damaged product. 4. Please contact OCI and make a claim within seven days.

Order ModificationAn order may be changed prior to an order being placed into production or fabric

has been ordered. Changes made to an order once it has been placed into productionor after fabric has been ordered is subject to a 30% change order charge

All changes/modifications must be made in writing and confirmed by OCI.Order Cancellations

Orders cannot be canceled without OCI’s approval.Cancellations cannot be accepted once fabric has been cut, order is in production

Wood DisclaimerDue to natural variations in wood, the furniture that you receive may vary in color

and grain from the sample.

Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M.)A deposit of 50% may be required on C.O.M. orders. A 30% restocking charge on

any cancelled orders may apply.

Custom Stain MatchingOCI will accept stain match orders. There is a $195 net upcharge per order. All

future orders with the same special stain will incur a 6% upcharge per order.Please send OCI the wood sample you would like us to match along with your

purchase order with the type of chair(s) and quantity. We produce a strike-off and sendit to our customer for approval. Once we have received final approval, we will place theorder in our next regularly scheduled production.

Repair ChargesFactory authorization must be approved prior to incurring any repair charges or

charge backs.

C.O.M. / Fabric InformationUpholstery Cover Warranty

OCI selects its upholstery covers in keeping with the highest qualitystandards from only reputable suppliers. Since durability and color fastnessvary according to usage and warranties vary from supplier to supplier, OCI’swarranty is limited to the extent of suppliers warranty. There is no warranty forfading, normal wear or misuse. COM/COL is not warranted for wear orlong-term adhesion.Flammability

All OCI upholstery covers and filling meet California Bureau of HomeFurnishings Bulletin #117-75. All C.O.M. materials sold in the State ofCalifornia must be accompanied by certification that they meet this code. It isthe customer’s responsibility to supply OCI with this certification or ordercannot be processed.

C.O.M. PricingThe approved C.O.M. price for non-directional fabric is the Grade 1 price.

For all Chair Series, hand cut and matched stripes, patterns or prints, you

must add the upcharges below:

Chair – $65 List • Love Seat – $85 List • Sofa – $120 List

Customer’s Own Material (C.O.M.)

All shipments to OCI must be prepaid. OCI assumes no responsibilityfor the quality, durability or suitability of C.O.M. materials. Surplus C.O.M.will be returned to the customer only if specifically requested.

All yardage figures are based upon our receipt of plain 54" widematerial. A C.O.M. information sheet must be completed and submittedwith a fabric sample for approval prior to order being processed.

Information sheets can be obtained by calling our order desk. Stripes,patterns, or prints will require additional material. Extra fabric isrequired to match any pattern with matching repeats. Please usechart below as a guide and add to plain yardage requirements listed in yourprice book.

OCI Warranty Policies

OCI CONTRACT LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

Reception and Guest Seating OCI Contract warrants from the date of purchase, the structural frame construction of any of its chairs to be free from defects in materials and workmanship

for a period of 10 years to the original purchaser. Seat suspension system will be covered for a period of 3 years. Fabric and foam are warranted for a period of 3years, covering problems from defective products only and not normal wear and tear.

OCI Contract warranties are limited to the original purchaser under normal commercial use, defined as a 40 hour work week and by person(s) weighing 250lbs. or less. This warranty does not apply to any condition resulting from normal office use such as abrasion or friction, negligence, misuse, alterations, fires, im-proper cleaning or accidents.

Should any part fail, please return the product with your original receipt to the dealer from whom it was purchased. The dealer must send the defective partto OCI Contract freight prepaid. We will repair or replace the defective part and send it back to the dealer freight prepaid. This warranty does not cover Dealerlabor, field service or delivery charges.

Except as provided herein, OCI Contract makes no representation or warranty of any other kind, express or implied. Any implied warranty of merchantabilityor fitness for a particular purpose that may be applicable to the furniture frames shall be the written warranty relating to the particular item as set forth above.

OCI Contract recommends that moving parts such as chair controls and casters be examined periodically, lubricated and cleaned as necessary, and screwschecked for tightness. Vacuum or brush fabrics at least once a week. Protect from glaring sunlight. For cleaning instructions, please contact your dealer.

OCI Contract reserves the right to change or substitute any component of our chairs at any point in time.

Management and Conference Seating OCI Contract warrants from the date of purchase, all chair frames including metal, wood and plastic parts, bases and casters for a lifetime. The gas cylinders

have a lifetime warranty. Fabric and foam are warranted for a period of 3 years, covering problems from defective product only and not normal wear and tear.All other warranties are stated above in paragraphs 2 thru 6 under Reception and Guest Seating

All warranties are limited to the original purchaser under normal commercial use, defined as a 40 hourwork week and by persons weighing 250 lbs. or less.
