The number of cases are increasing across the State. President Trump declared a national emergency. Ohio Governor DeWine declared a state of emergency. Cuyahoga County Executive Armond Budish signed a Declaration of Emergency for Cuyahoga County. Mayor Frank Jackson released a proclamation of Civil Emergency for the City of Cleveland. o June 1 st : Catering and banquet centers can reopen under similar guidelines as restaurants o 6 feet between tables and no congregating. For the immediate future, crowd size will be limited to 300 o June 8 th : Assisted living facilities and intermediate care facilities for individuals with developmental disabilities that are properly prepared can begin to allow outdoor visitation in Ohio o June 30 th : Mayor Frank G. Changes since last SitRep in Red Incident Overview: As of June 2, Ohio has multiple confirmed cases of COVID-19: ODH is reporting 4,581 cases in Cuyahoga County. including referrals to the ODH line and website o Red Cross – Delivered 50 Cots to Cleveland for National Guard

ESF 7 Logistics o Staffing Donation Collection Point at Cuyahoga County Public Works Garage located at 2501

Harvard Ave., Newburgh Hts. Operating Mon-Fri 9:30am-2:30pm. Accepting the following items: ▪ N95 masks, Surgical masks, Gowns, Eye protection, Face shields, Nitrile gloves, Disinfecting

wipes, Hand sanitizer o Continuing PPE distribution to healthcare facilities with critical needs.

o Pickup time for PPE at the Donations Collection Point Mon-Fri 10am-2pm

ESF 8 Health & Medical o 1,612 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Cleveland as of 6/1 (CDPH)

▪ 53 deaths within the City of Cleveland

o CDPH has been made aware of placards indicating COVID restricted areas in public places, and containing the CDPH logo. These materials are completely fabricated and have nothing to do with the City of Cleveland, and are to be considered completely unofficial.

o Updates from the Governor’s Daily Briefing ▪ The Governor announced that the intent is for all K-12 schools in Ohio to be open in

the fall. ▪ Health care providers may resume all surgeries and procedures that had previously

been delayed. ▪ Additional comments regarding the recent violent protests were shared.

CCBH Activities:

1. Updated website: Cuyahoga County Board of Health – current COVID19 surveillance data

and resources 2. Implementing COVID-19 equity-based strategy that prioritizes populations

disproportionately affected by COVID-19, using data and community partnerships to inform messaging and resource support

3. Maintained tracking spreadsheet for CCBH resource requests and fulfillment; Coordinated request for provisions/services from individuals being isolated/quarantine; Responded to 194 requests since 3/26/20

4. Responded to complaints/questions related to COVID-19 NPI measures (business/school closures/reopening, essential business designations/complaints, social distancing, hygiene etiquette, etc.)

5. Coordinated with EOC to allocate and fulfill emergency PPE orders 6. Maintained cold chain, inventory management and distribution tracking of ODH supplied

COVID test kits 7. Operated Cuyahoga County Drop Site; allocated scarce resources according to ODH

guidance; maintained chain of custody and inventory management; received, inventoried and put away 14th shipment of PPE from Ohio

8. Provided representation and assistance with requests for the JIC and ESF#8 role at Cuyahoga County EOC

9. Operated and staffed CCBH call center; Call volume down with the majority of calls related to returning calls from CCBH staff and complaints about businesses
