To who it may concern…
I am interested in doing voluntary work for the ITV because I am currently studying Media for A-‐levels at 6 Form College. I enjoy the subject and I would like to get a taste of the TV industry so it could help me with career choices as well as college studies.
Previous work experience-‐ Back in 2009 I took part in work experience at Pool and Waite ironmongers. During the experience I found out new skills such as team work. During the job I did such things as, packing certain items that were sold at the shop as well as do small errands and odd jobs for the manager of the shop. So I had to be careful and take care to provide the best quality for customers. I am very responsible and can take careful of myself when it comes to certain jobs. At the end of the work experience the manager said I done a very good job as I showed I could do numerous tasks with ease and showed willing as well as being hardworking.
My hobbies include taking photographs as well as playing sports with friends. Also for media studies some work we have had to film outside of college so I have understanding of equipment and studios I am easy going and also am a very sociable person and therefore, could work with various amounts of people either in teams or by myself. As I stated before I have knowledge and understanding of film equipment and studios and understand various shot angles and stage in. I also have a lot of knowledge on ICT involving both work and programmes that I use on regular basis such as Windows office including PowerPoint, word and excel.
