Curriculum Vitae of Dr. Shawkat Ara Medical Graduate served a number of organizations with different capacity in the field of Child health, Reproductive health and other public health related issues. Have more than 08 years of professional experience as, Clinical Trainer, Medical Officer, Monitoring Officer, Health Supervisor, Health program Specialist, Project Manager-Health in world Vision Bangladesh. Experienced and skilled in innovating, designing, planning, monitoring and evaluating the Family Planning-Maternal and Child Health (FP-MCH), Reproductive health and Child survival Program. As a clinical trainer involved in development of training curriculum, organized and facilitated different training sessions at 10 centres of Family Planning Association of Bangladesh (FPAB) situated in different districts within country. Visited different static and satellite centers to supervise and monitor ESP services as well as to provide onsite technical assistance to improve their performance. While working in Research Evaluation and Development (READ: a research organization) developed survey questionnaire and supervised field activities and compile reports in survey related to health. While working as Clinic Manager-Population Services and Training Centre (PSTC) provided outdoor services as well as supervised the activity of different projects implemented in the clinic and the community. Conducted Quality Monitoring and Supervision (QMS) visits to 18 smiling Sun Clinics under PSTC-SSFP as Monitoring officer. At present working as Project Manager (PM)-Health in World Vision Bangladesh and as PM facilitate in organizing advocacy meetings with different stakeholders to assess the community health need and design appropriate health program accordingly based on World Vision Bangladesh health strategy. As a public health professional always facilitate training sessions besides program implementation. Sincere, hardworking and can operate MS-word, Excel and MS Power point program. Prepare program strategies including detail budget to implement different health related activities under Kamlapur Area Development Project (KADP) of Dhaka

Indentifying health needs through organizing social mapping exercise with the stakeholders of the community and design appropriate health program accordingly based on World Vision Bangladesh health strategy

Prepare and implement action plan for capacity building of ADP health staffs and community level health volunteers
