The talent show was a wild success this year!

Taking place on February 27 in the Zimmer Audito-

rium, the Men of METRO and the Women of

CWEST put on an event with the

highest attendance in recent histo-

ry! There were several incredible

acts, including a performance from

the UC Student Body Vice-

President Shivam Shah! Other performances include hip hop dancers, the UC A

Capella Group, the UC Hepcats, and several vocal performances with acoustic

guitar and piano. Our very own Stephanie Kenning performed a tap routine to

“The Cup Song” from recent film Pitch Perfect. The winners of the Talent Show

were the UC Cheerleaders for their incredible stunting performance! Judges in-

cluded UC’s resident history buff Mr. Greg Hand and his wife Mrs. Hand, Mr.

and Mrs. Jon and Lori Levy, owners of the local Uncle Woody’s Pub, and Brad

Wurthman from UC Athletics. The

event was fun for all, and raised

over $4,000 for the Boys and

Girls Club of Cincinnati! It was an

overwhelmingly successful event. Special thanks

to Alexandra Land and Kevin Uckotter for organiz-

ing the event this

year. Next year’s

chairs will have

some big shoes to

fill!
