Orcas Island is about 57 square miles with a population of 5,387. The island’s horseshoe shape and geographical features make it a natural wonder, as well as a challenge for cyclists. Eastsound is the main commercial center where you will find shops, restaurants and medical care. Deer Harbor, Olga, Westsound, and Orcas Village are smaller villages, each with it’s own unique character. Moran State Park is a popular destination for hiking and mountain biking. Orcas, Olga, and Pt. Lawrence Road are the main thoroughfares that follow the curved shape of the island.
