The 751-5701 AS-Interface Module allows standard sensors and actuators tobe controlled as slave devices on an AS-Interface network.It is an economical solution for the fieldbus-independent and flexibleconnection of sensors and actuators in the field and/or the switchgearcabinet.One module accepts 4 24VDC digital inputs and 4 24VDC digital outputs(2A).All connections to the module, including the AS-Interface connection, theactuator supply connection, and connections to the I/O, are made via sepa-rate WAGO MULTI CONNECTION (MCS) pluggable terminal blocks.

The module provides a shor t circuit proof sensor supply, and a separateactuator supply via the AUX contacts.

Short circuit and overload conditions are reported via LED and over theAS-Interface bus.An onboard programming socket serves for slave configuration.The 751-5701 AS-Interface Module is designed in accordance with theAS-Interface specification V.3.0.
