Shipping crane relocated from local dock. Adapted to become viewing tower. Footpath and Cycleway. Jetty. Steel frame, timber deck with seating and shelter. Existing floodwall. Existing sluice gate. A series of ponds on a sloping site set up the ground conditions for five different habitats. Changes in habitat are further defined by dramatic differences in colour and texture. These contrasts are most prominent on the western edge by the circular ponds. As visitors walk eastwards, the merging of habitats links the wetland with the rest of the park.
