Dando Destoyer polycrystalline compact diamond (PCD) bits are designed for drilling in soft to medium homogeneous and competent sedimentary formations.

Dando Drilling International are able to supply a wide range of PCD core bits and work closely with their clients to ensure the product matches their specific requirements. Dando offer bespoke solutions including oversized bits and altered water ways and the PCD cutters are available in several sizes located to yield maximum penetration rates and long life. The bits are constructed with a tough, wear-resistant matrix body and gauge reinforcement. As a result, worn cutters can be rotated or replaced allowing the continued use of the bit.

Size Dando bits are available in both standard and bespoke drilling sizes.

Waterways Dando bits are available with a wide range of waterway configurations. PCD Size Standard Dando PCD bits are available with either 8mm or 13mm PCD cutters.

‘PAX Type’‘PCD Type’ (Polycrystalline Diamond) that uses larger cylindrical shaped cutters that are composed of a layer of micron sized synthetic diamond particles mounted on a tungsten-carbide substrate.

‘TSP Type’ (Thermally Stable Polycrystalline)Bits that use smaller triangular and cubic shaped cutters that are composed entirely of micron-sized synthetic diamond particles.
