Here at Danum Arts Centre we strive to deliver a range of quality artforms ranging from live music to stand-up comedy,
children’s theatre to nostalgic cabaret evenings. Our aim is to be Doncaster’s premier multi-arts venue and our inclusive, community-driven programme means we can be a place of
education and immersion through creative arts.
At Danum Arts Centre you can not only observe art, but also participate in artistic sessions and workshops to develop a
deeper passion for art and performance.

Quinn Auditorium
Originally from the Deep South of the USA, and now one of the North West’s
favourite comics. Reg is one of the good guys of comedy. A hypnotic,
smooth-talking, very human comedian who hits your funny bone with
tales of love, hate, death and all that is in between. He has been performing for just over a decade and has become a well-known face of primetime television shows such as Live at the Apollo, and is
a frequent guest on Have I Got News for You.

Quinn Auditorium
From the 1989 book burnings of Salman Rush-die’s The Satanic Verses, to the murder of film-maker Theo Van Gogh and the controversy of the ‘Muhammad cartoons’ in 2005, DV8’s new
production examines how these events have reflected and influenced multicultural policies,
freedom of speech and censorship. Can We Talk About This? is based on real voices and
interviews, with leading figures from across the religious, political, cultural and social spec-
trum, including MPs, high profile authors and journalists.
