CONFIRM ALL NEW AND EXISTING CONDITIONS WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. NOTIFY ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING OF ALL DISCREPANCIES OR CONFLICTS. DO NOT PROCEED WITH WORK IN THE AREA OF DISCREPANCY OR CONFLICT UNTIL DIRECTION IS GIVEN BY ARCHITECT. REVIEW THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS BEFORE THE INSTALLATION OF SYSTEMS SHOWN ON CONSULTING ENGINEER’S DOCUMENTS. DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE ARCHITECTURAL AND CONSULTING ENGINEER’S DOCUMENTS SHALL BE BROUGHT TO ARCHITECTS ATTENTION FOR DIRECTION. CONSTRUCTION INSTALLED IN CONFLICT WITH THE ARCHITECTURAL DRAWINGS SHALL BE CORRECTED BY CONTRACTOR AT NO EXPENSE TO THE OWNER.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ESTABLISH CLEAR UNDERSTANDING REQUIREMENTS OF THE PROJECT, SYSTEMS AND THEIR COMPONENTS PRIOR TO ORDERING MATERIALS.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE SHORING, BRACING, SUPPORT AND PROTECTION AS REQUIRED.

THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL MEANS AND METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL COORDINATE ALL CONSTRUCTION EFFORTS WITH THE OWNER'S REQUIREMENTS.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE FOR DUST CONTROL THROUGHOUT AND SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY MEASURES TO VENTILATE AREAS DURING ALL PHASES OF DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION, AND SHALL ERADICATE THE BUILD-UP OF FUMES FROM FINISH MATERIALS AND CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN SIX (6) AIR EXCHANGES PER HOUR UNLESS MORE STRINGENT OSHA, STATE OR LOCAL STANDARDS ARE TO BE ADHERED TO.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE ALL WORK WITH THE OWNER AND OWNER PROVIDED CONTRACTORS, IF ANY, AS REQUIRED TO IMPLEMENT THE SCOPE OF WORK.

THE ARCHITECT SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOCATING, IDENTIFYING, OR SPECIFYING MEANS OF REMOVAL OF ANY HAZARDOUS MATERIALS. HAZARDOUS MATERIAL TESTING SHALL BE COMPLETED BY OWNER CONTRACTED CONSULTANT.

IN PERFORMING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THIS PROJECT, HENNEBERY EDDY ARCHITECTS, INC. ISSUES, EXPRESSES OR IMPLIES NO WARRANTIES OR CERTIFICATIONS.

COORDINATE FLOOR, WALL AND CEILING FIRE RATINGS WITH CODE COMPLIANCE SHEETS. ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH RATED ASSEMBLIES TO BE SEALED WITH AN APPROPRIATE FIRESTOP SYSTEM WITH AN EQUAL OR GREATER RATING THAN THE PENETRATED ASSEMBLY.

INFORMATION RELATING TO THE EXISTING BUILDING IS BASED ON OWNER PROVIDED DOCUMENTS AND LIMITED FIELD MEASUREMENTS. ACTUAL CONDITIONS MAY VARY AND SHALL BE FIELD VERIFIED BY THE CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION AND PROCUREMENT OF MATERIALS OR ITEMS.

ALTHOUGH THE NOTES CAREFULLY LIST THE EXISTING BUILDING ELEMENTS TO BE DEMOLISHED, THE CONTRACTOR IS OBLIGATED WITHIN THIS WORK SCOPE TO REMOVE ANY OTHER EXISTING NON-STRUCTURAL, MATERIALS FOUND TO BE IN THE WAY OF INSTALLING THE MATERIALS AND SYSTEMS INCORPORATED IN THE RENOVATED DESIGN.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH AND REPAIR BUILDING ELEMENTS TO MATCH PREVIOUS CONDITION WHERE ITEMS WERE REMOVED OR AREAS WHERE DAMAGED DURING CONSTRUCTION.

WHERE CEILING IS CALLED TO BE DEMOLISHED REMOVE ITEMS SUCH AS LIGHT FIXTURES, VENTS, GRILLES, HEATING ELEMENTS, MECHANICAL GRILLES OR UON.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL CLEAN, PLUG, PATCH AND REPAIR ALL BUILDING SURFACES IMPACTED BY THE DEMOLITION WORK AND PREPARE THEM FOR NEW WORK.

THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE DEMOLITION WITH, MECHANICAL, PLUMBING AND ELECTRICAL, REQUIREMENTS, TO ACCOMMODATE NEW OPENINGS FOR PIPING CONDUIT AND STRUCTURAL

AT (E) BLANK FACE PLATES WITH ABANDONED JUNCTION BOXES, REMOVE ALL (E) BLANK FACE PLATES AND PATCH WALL FINISH.

REMOVE ABANDONED HVAC, PLUMBING, AND ELECTRICAL ITEMS IF THEY WILL BE VISIBLE AFTER COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT IF UNCOVERED DURING CONSTRUCTION.
