This Hariharapura Kshetra is dedicated to Lord Lakshminarasimha Swamy and Goddess Sri Sharada

parameshwari. According to our Purana, the great sage Agastya did intense penance in this place. Pleased with

his immense faith and pure devo�on, Lord Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy bestowed the great sage Agastya with

pratyakshya darshana (divine sigh�ng of the Lord Himself ) . The Lakshminarasimha Swamy Moorthy ( deity)

and saligrama worshipped by the great sage Agastya are being worshipped even today at the Hariharapura

temple. Later, Jagadguru Sri Adi Shankaracharya installed the Srichakra, consecrated the shrine of Sri Sharada

parameshwari, established this Hariharapura Dharmapeeta and blessed the first Peetadipathi Sri Krishna

Yogeendra with Mantra Deeksha.

Hariharapura Kshetra which is located on the banks of the divine Tunga river, is renowned for thousands of

years of glorious history and Guru parampara of the the highest order. It is men�oned in skaanda Purana that

Daksha Brahma performed the mahayagna in this holy land of Hariharapura and as a witness to this,

swayambhu Daksahara Someshwara Swamy is being worshipped even today at Hariharapura.

Hence we wish that all of you par�cipate in this 'Hanuman Chalisa Paraayana Mahayagna' with utmost devo�on

and in turn partake the Blessings of Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy, and Paramapoojya Mahaswamiji.

The Hanuman Chaalisa, which is so divine and powerful, when chanted by the devotees with utmost

devo�on, will rid one of his problems and deformi�es of all forms, and grant bliss, with the blessings of

Sri Anjaneya Swami.

Paramapoojya Mahaswamiji had blessed all the devotees to take part in this process of reconstruc�on by

gran�ng us the opportunity to partake in the 'Sri Lakshminarasimha Divya Naama Lekhana Japa Yagna'. Lakhs of

devotees have par�cipated in this Japayagna and have offerred the filled up Japayagna books.

The books, which represent the pure bhak� of lakhs of devotees will need to be stored and secured in an

organized way and for this purpose, a Smaaraka Bhavana will be constructed. It has been decided that on the

occasion of the coming year's RAMANAVAMI, a 25 feet tall statue of Bhakta Anjaneya Swami will be installed

on top of this Smaaraka Bhavana. As a part of the prepara�on for this event, from the coming U�arayana

Punyakaala, up�l Rama Navami, a con�nuous chan�ng of the Sundara Kaanda of Ramayana and many such

devo�onal ac�vi�es will be conducted in Sreemath Hariharapura. On the holdy day of Sri Rama Navami,

Sri Lakshminarasimha Mahayaaga, Sri Ramataaraka Mahayaaga, and Sri Anjaneyaswami Mahayaaga will be

performed. It has been decided that as a part of this event, which has been planned with the intent of welfare of

the en�re world, a will be conducted.'Dasha Laksha Hanuman Chalisa Paraayana Mahayagna'

task of temple renova�on which has been in progress for the last ten years is now nearing its comple�on, and

we are expec�ng the dates in the near future.'MAHAKUMBHABHISHEKAM'

In case of certain instances of Ashoucha, and in case of female devotees, during the �me of their monthly

cycles, they will not be performing the paraayana. However, once the hindrance lapses, they can perform

extra number of chants and make up for the lost days count.

2. All those who wish to par�cipate in this Mahayagna will need to chant the Hanuman Chalisa at least

7 �mes in day, with utmost devo�on in their residences only. The period starts from U�arayana Punyakala

(Sankran� 15th January 2020) upto Ramanavami (2nd April 2020), which spans for a period of 75 days.

Which means all those desirous of par�cipa�ng in this Mahayagna must have finished chan�ng Hanaman

Chalisa at least 500 �mes in total. If possible, devotees can chant more number of �mes also.

4. Upon successful comple�on of the Parayaana Mahayagna, prasada will be sent across to all the

par�cipants who have thus registered.

1. There are no special rules to be observed for this Stotra Paraayana. Any devotee can par�cipate in this

Mahayagna with utmost devo�on and dedica�on. There is no restric�on in terms of caste, creed, race, age

or dietary prac�ces.

3. All the devotees who wish to par�cipate in this Paraayana Mahayagna will need to send their name,

complete residen�al address, and mobile number to the contact as given below by way of

'whatsapp message', as a part of the registra�on process.
