Applications

Exxelor PO 1015 is designed to:

• Function as a coupling agent betweenreinforcing materials, such as glass fibers andinorganic fillers, and polypropylene.

• Achieve compatibility in polypropylene/poly-amide alloys.

• Achieve compatibility between polyolefins andmore polar polymers that are capable ofinteracting with maleic anhydride for alloying,recycling or co-extrusion purposes.

Processing

Exxelor PO 1015 can be added to polypropylene, to achieve optimum dispersion within the glass-reinforcedmatrix and achieve the best performance. Compounding parameters that can lead to optimized performanceinclude extruder type, screw design, barrel temperature, screw speed, throughput, residence time and materialfeeding sequence.

Storage and handling

Comprehensive material safety data sheets areprovided to recommend safe practices during usage.For easy handling and storage, Exxelor PO 1015 issupplied as free-flowing pellets normally packed in 25kg bags (50 bags per pallet) or 1 ton supersacks.
