ATEX/IECEx Hazardous Area SolutionsDatalink has a long association of working within the Oil and Gas industry and has proven expertise in the design and manufacture of robust electronic products for use in harsh environments.

We have an excellent understanding of the legislative and regulatory requirements for the ATEX 95 Equipment Directive and the ISO/IEC 80079 manufacturing procedures backed up by many years of experience in manufacture of ATEX products.

Datalink has designed ATEX-compliant products that include systems for high-speed data acquisition, process control and instrumentation, vibration monitoring, and low-power sensors.

ISO 13485 Medical DevicesWe also provide design, consultancy and assembly services for the Medical and Biomedical industries. There is a strong focus in this area and a number of medical devices have been developed for the industry. These include a dose measurement system for a Needle-Free Syringe, a Urodynamic System for diagnostic purposes, a Microsystems-Based Drug Delivery system and a Xenon Control and Monitoring unit for use in clinical trials.

Due to the nature of medical products they must be reliable and safe. Therefore the design and assembly for such devices is subject to stringent risk and safety assessments to meet the requirements of ISO 13485, and the medical devices directive.
