PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Parents,
Thank you to the many families who completed the communication survey that was sent
out recently. Your responses gave us valuable information that will be used in order to
review and reflect on our current practices and improve our communication methods in the
future.
Thank you to all the parents who attended the parent meeting last Friday regarding the
organisation of the White Ribbon breakfast and assembly on Wednesday 23rd November.
It was very encouraging to see so many parents volunteering their time to assist us in
making this event a success. We have had confirmation that White Ribbon Campaign
Ambassadors Andrew O’Keefe from Chanel 7 as well as Jason Clare, Member for Blaxland
will be attending this event. There will be White Ribbon merchandise sold on the day,
metal pins $10, wristbands $5 and ribbons $2. Please come along and support this event as
we come together to spread the message of the importance of respect towards women.
We are constantly striving towards achieving
our Strategic Direction of Nurturing Positive
Respectful Relationships as stated in our
School Plan.

bilingual logos for "Recycling".
This term the students in 3/4M have been learning about different environments around
Australia. We decided to create some beautiful artworks representing The Great Barrier Reef, The
Simpson Desert and Gum Trees.
Stage 3 Leadership Day
Last week Years 5 and 6 were lucky enough to participate in a leadership day run by a
company called ‘Unleash your Personal Potential’. The children participated in a range of

courage, respect and be kind to each other. It was a fabulous day.
