Do you love animals, science, or just plain-old having fun? Zoo Camp at the Peoria Zoo is a week-long day camp program for children with a focus on learning about our animal residents. This year we will explore all types of animals and even consider what you would do if you ran the Zoo! Camp fees include a “zoo-riffic” t-shirt and group picture of the campers.

Each Zoo camper will experience a program especially designed to meet the needs, interests and expec-tations appropriate to their age and developmental stage, so it is important that the age guidelines are followed. Please do not request to enroll children in other age categories. Every program includes the following activities: Animal Encounters, Science Experiments, Crafts, Story Telling, Games, and more!

PROCTOR SUMMER FUN ACADEMYOur Summer Fun Academy is like no other! In addition to field trips every Friday, your child will experience an abundance of knowledge combining classes and recreation. A typical day includes out-of-the-box teaching in the areas of math, science, and reading in the morning and a combination of sports and extracurricular activities in the afternoon. Recreation helps

children develop physical and mental skills, get exercise, have fun and learn to play while the classes keep their brains alive and engaged for the summer. New! Under the One/Six Are you considered a “tween” because you are too old for summer camp but too young to work? Well, this is the camp for you! Proctor Center will help ages 14-15 prepare for high school, college, and the real world. We will visit local colleges, have volunteer opportunities, and help prepare for real-life experiences. You can still attend the Friday field trips.
