TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs)
Synopsis: Bladder cancer remains the most expensive cancer to treat in terms of follow up . State of the art surgical and non surgical techniques can be considered for many patients with localised muscle invasive disease but which is better? Can we easily compare the two and how should we advise patients.Little improvements have been seen over the last 20 years in terms of survival for advanced disease however the advent of immunotherapy in urothelial cancer has given new promise. Who should we treat and how.Upper tract urothelial cancer has had little in the way of progress and few randomised trials but adjuvant therapy has been shown to improve outcome- how has this happenedRenal cancer has had an explosion of new therapies over the last 10 years, how should we think about adding in immunotherapy and how does this improve outcome. Is nephrectomy still gold standard for patients with advanced or metastatic disease. Many questions but you can hope to find some of the answers ( or even more questions) in the Oncology Forum Bladder/Renal Track

DAY ONE DAY TWO SPEAKER SUBJECT
TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs) Synopsis: Breast Cancer Session ; When Less is More-But Recognising When It Is NotWe are increasingly looking to tailor treatment to reduce over-treatment or under-treatment in breast cancer. In older patients we have sometimes tailored treatment to reduce harm – the National Audit in Older Breast Cancer Patients (NABCOP) reports on treatments and outcomes . Recent studies and publications in all the sub-specialities look to de-escalate treatment when safe (or at least “ non-inferior”) and escalate where there are further gains for patients. This session will examine where we are with these strategies from leading experts in medical oncology, clinical oncology and surgery. On a background of improving mortality from breast cancer are we at risk of pulling too far back for some patients? Conversely- are we treating excessively for small gains for others (and at what cost to our patients and/or our limited resources) ? does surgical de-escalation always make sense over radiotherapy escalation ? Can we simultaneously de-escalate systemic therapy and surgery ? come to hear our expert panel opinions on when less is more-but recognising when it is not (or never is)!

TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs) “UPDATES IN COLORECTAL AND ANAL CANCER”Synopsis: There has been a dearth of new drug approvals in lower gastrointestinal cancer in comparison to most cancer sites over the last few years. Despite this, significant advances in the management of colorectal and anal cancer are being made. This includes innovative multi-modality therapies, novel therapeutic approaches using the neoadjuvant setting, international collaboration in rare as well as common tumour trials, and investigation of ‘liquid biopsies’. In this session, Elske Gootjes will give us an update on multimodality approaches to optimal debulking of metastatic colorectal cancer; Duncan Gilbert will discuss multimodality management of anal cancer; Jenny Seligmann will update us on neoadjuvant trial results and trial concepts in this setting in both colon and rectal cancer; Vicky Coyle will discuss updates in use of ctDNA and proposed international trials and Janet Graham will give us an update from ASCO 2019, where results from UK and international colorectal cancer trials were presented.

TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs) Synopsis: This year’s gynaecological track of the UK Oncology Forum is very pleased to have, once again, an illustrious, highly experienced panel of speakers: Dr Andrew Clamp (UK), Professor Marcia Hall (UK), Mr Ranjit Manchanda (UK), Dr Remi Nout (Netherlands) and Dr Melanie Powell (UK). Each one will highlight areas of controversy and evolving gynaecological cancer research and practice relevant to the UK population. Particular focus will be given to initiatives that will identify new treatment paradigms for patients with rare gynaecological cancer, the rapidly expanding portfolio of promising endometrial clinical trials, the molecular basis of our progress in endometrial cancer and how this will continue to crystallize our ability to correctly select patients as well as recent developments in surgical approaches for early stage cervical cancer and intra-peritoneal chemotherapy. We welcome robust interaction with the audience that enables us all to return back to our clinical practice with increased knowledge, ideas, collaboration and motivation to improve what we are doing a little bit more.

DAY ONE DAY TWO SPEAKER SUBJECT
TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs) Synopsis: As the number of PLWC is increasing and treatments for cancer are changing and becoming more complex, effective working between Primary and Secondary care is vital for patients to experience safe and seamless support through their cancer journey. For this to happen, good communication between professionals in different care settings is essential but unfortunately this isn't always the experience that people describe. Another important element is to ensure that Primary Care teams feels confident to better support PLWC in the community and are provided with the education and tools to do this - this is central to our role at Macmillan Cancer Support; what needs to be
done to improve working between care settings and truly bridge the gap to improve care for PLWC in a changing landscape.

DAY ONE DAY TWO SPEAKER SUBJECT
TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs) TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs) Synopsis : It is an exciting time to be involved in the care of lung cancer patients. Rapid progress has been made in the last decade in the field of lung cancer therapy leading to improvement in survival for all stages of disease. One of the most exciting news this year is that improvement in survival has finally been reported in stage 3 NSCLC with the addition of immunotherapy to chemo-radiotherapy. In this year's dynamic session at the Oncology Forum, we have great speakers who will discuss controversies in the field of stage 3 disease, using case based discussions. They will give you the perspective of the clinical oncologist, medical oncologist and the surgeon, which of course can be quite different! We will also be taking a look towards the future with a talk on ‘demystifying biomarkers science’ and another on trendy
‘big data’. Please come prepared to be entertained and to have your current thinking challenged!

DAY ONE DAY TWO SPEAKER SUBJECT
TIMINGS (14:30hrs ~ 17:30hrs)
TIMINGS (08:45hrs ~ 12:15hrs)
Synopsis: There have been major advances in the management of castrate sensitive metastaitc prostate cancer in the last few years. Data on the use of both Docetaxel and Abiraterone have shown significant improvements in survival. There remains international controversy on how to manage “low volume” metastaitc disease. The most recent STAMPEDE results examined radical therapy to the prostate using radiotherapy for patients with synchronous metastatic disease. This demonstrated a substantial failure-free and overall survival benefit in the subgroup of patients with “low volume” disease. Local RT to the primary tumour should now be the new standard-of-care for men with synchronous oligometastatic prostate cancer.
Trials have shown radiotherapy improves survival in locally-advanced prostate cancer. However, surgery (radical prostatectomy) is now used for the treatment of locally-advanced disease in 1 in 5 such patients, since a significant number of practitioners consider surgery and radiotherapy to be oncologically equivalent, extrapolating from trials of radiotherapy and ADT in high risk localised disease. The session will explore and discuss the challenge of managing high risk localised disease and oligometastatic castrate sensitive disease, specifically looking at the roles of surgery, radiotherapy (both to the primary and to mets) and systemic therapies in this setting.
