Implementing BehaviorismD.B

What is behaviorism? John B. WatsonWatson founded behaviorism, defining the theory as behaviors that can be measured, trained, and changed.
Ivan PavlovPavlov founded classical conditioning, a reflexive or automatic type of learning in which a stimulus acquires the capacity to evoke a response that was originally evoked by another stimulus.

What is behaviorism? B.F SkinnerFounder of operant conditioning, theory that behaviors are reinforced will tend to continue, while behaviors that are punished will eventually end.
Albert BanduraSocial learning theory stating people learn from one another, via observation, imitation, and modeling.

Types of Conditioning Operant Rewards &
Punishments Look only at
external & observable
Gives positive & negative reinforcements
Classical Unconditioned
response: unlearned & naturally occurring
Conditioned stimulus: triggers a continuous response
Conditioned response: learned from a stimulus

Teacher Implementation Reward students
with positive phone calls to parents.
Punish students by taking away “tech time” (I.E. music, computer games, etc.)
![Page 6: D.B- Behaviorism](https://reader036.vdocument.in/reader036/viewer/2022082420/557672e7d8b42a8f138b5329/html5/thumbnails/6.jpg)
Students & Behaviorism Students will learn
organization and apply it with ease and will continue on in the following years.
Students will learn how to use Microsoft Office innately and understand how to implement their understanding.

Is behaviorism beneficial? Yes! This is a
technique that I would incorporate into my classroom.
It’s important to show students praise and let them know that they’re doing a good job, or constructively tell/show them how to do better.
