First Friday themes for 3rd quarter were: July: Summer in the City / Artistic Freedom August: Dog Days of Summer September: Back to School / Artist Trading Card release.

We also embraced the Pokemon craze that-brought lots of visitors to our downtown!

Downtown is a popular destination for special events, especially in the

summer. In addition to our monthly First Friday events, we worked with

community partners in the late summer months to

include the Sunrise Rotary Brats and Bags event, as well as the City of

Bloomington Criterium Bike Race.

DBA Public Art Program adds 3D Murals to downtown landscape.

Public Art committee added the first of 9 power box murals. Artists featured were

left , Rose Tuttle, corner of Main and Washington; Danell Dvorak, corner of Wash-

ington and Center, and Mickey Lower, Main and Market.
